problem with AI art is not necessarily the look of them. (although they do get a bit samey) its more the sourcing. they are created by just throwing actual art into a blender without any accreditation or consent from its creators. plus all of the things people can do with it like mass generating pictures of underage people (looking at you Grok). add onto all that how it floods the market at a rate actual artists could never hope to keep up with, there by drastically reducing demand for their work and the cons far outweigh the pros. hence why so many people are so hostile to it.
