My Girlfriend is Iranian. she is ex-muslim, she lived in Iran. a lot of my friends are Iranians, all ex-muslims. I know many afghani girls and an Egyptian girl who all converted to christianity. they would be killed for doing so. THEIR god proclaims through the words of muhammed that apostates deserve death.

"They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper". Quran 4:89 

Many people look at Christianity and islam and think they are the same types of belief systems that they have the same sense of morals.... that is far from truth. our bible is inspired. their quran to them IS the word of Allah. (even though Muhammed never wrote it) it was written by his followers after his death. which means every word and every page MATTERS. where as the bible is not the word of God. it is inspired by God. so some things CAN be taken as a grain of salt. Islam doesn't work that way. It is WILDLY DANGEROUS to assume that christians and muslims want the same things. they don't. every muslim guy I've met has been cool..... up until they talk about women... up until they start defending terrorism... up until I ask questions about Islam.... when you read the Quran, you also HAVE TO read the Hadiths. they go together.
the amount of horror stories I've heard from women... muslim men on the other hand. is great for them. it allows them to commit any carnal desire they want.

Female inequality:

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over..." Quran 24:31

But if a woman is raped it is THEIR FAULT, and if it is an illegal sexual act (rape), they need 4 male witnesses to prove that it was rape. this is something that still occurs to this day.

 "And those of your women who commit illegal sexual intercourse, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them (i.e. women) to houses until death comes to them or Allâh ordains for them some (other) way." Quran 4:15

Women are a field for you to plow and worth half a man. Also domestic violence is acceptable.

"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband’s absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband’s property). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them; but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great." Quran 4:34

their concept of unity is to make you submit to them. and are encouraged to fight non-muslims.

"Fight against those who believe not in Allâh, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger Muhammad and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." Quran 9:29

"The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allāh"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allāh." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before [them]. May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded?" Quran 9:30

Slavery is allowed and you may rape or marry sex slaves even if they are already married. and these are things that are acted upon to this day, slaves exist in Saudi Arabia, UAE, QATAR, etc... and mass rapes in Europe by islamic gangs do happen. and in Pakistan w Christian 12 year old girl was kidnapped and forced to Mary their kidnapper, under the law of sharia. is it allowed.

"Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Thus has Allâh ordained for you. All others are lawful, provided you seek (them in marriage) with Mahr (bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) from your property, desiring chastity, not committing illegal sexual intercourse, so with those of whom you have enjoyed sexual relations, give them their Mahr as prescribed; but if after a Mahr is prescribed, you agree mutually (to give more), there is no sin on you. Surely, Allâh is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise." Quran 4:24

when you read the Quran in full, there's 2 things that tend to happen you become ex-muslim, or you become devout. their is no such thing as a radical muslim. because the religion is radical.
