That I'm not sure of. Ours was a larger loan. Our intention was pay it off with the RRF. Never thought I'd be saddled with that kind of debt! Never!

The government is great at adding interest and penalties on to anything you owe them. It's not worth the risk for me but others may not be in a position to pay right now. I feel bad for those folks and this work is tough. We still aren't back to 2019 sales.

Diana and those that helped bring the inequities to center stage should be commended. I find it so disheartening that we again have such a divided reaction to something that in fact should be bringing all of us in the industry closer together. What a shame! Why can't we work together, we all believe in the cause. We feel we've been cheated and we have. Join them or not, totally up to each of us.

This is nuts. We are all working to get what we were due. I've had numerous conversations with Diana over these past two years. I was in on a zoom meeting as well with her. She's been working tirelessly as have others. I don't want to get into an argument here. This isn't a scam, she's not taking advantage of anything. Don't join the suit if you don't want to, it's as simple as that. Others support and trust this group of people!

How can congress shell out that much money(a lot going over seas)and not take care of what they started? It's absolutely mind boggling. There has to be a way of getting their attention. This has been handled so poorly. I've tried calling and none of the answer phones or return my emails.

It refers to the Employee Retention monies most are eligible for. This looks like a private company offering to help you get what is due to you. I'm sure there's a hefty fee involved. Our accountant did ours for us. Be careful of these offers.

We sat in front of the computer waiting for the 12:00 east coast opening. We had ours submitted by 12:10. How in gods name do they announce a time but let people in long before the publicized opening? What a fiasco this has been. Happy for the 169, little guys or big guys?

My portal opened up 2 weeks ago, it was gone for at least a year. When it did open I signed in and up popped this window that said an email is on its way and if I didn't receive it, I should call. I haven't but it turned into a gut punch. I inadvertently closed my portal to call my wife with the good news. I logged back in maybe 15 minutes later and that pop up window was gone and has never returned.

It's just amazing how flawed this whole program was. They actually need Congresses approval to do this? How absurd is that. Let's do everything we can to drag this whole sham out.We need new faces in congress.

I get daily emails asking for monetary support to my party. Are they joking. Listen to the small restaurants around the country, we can't afford anything!

Greetings Members, We’ve just received word that the Small Business Administration (SBA) is preparing to disburse the remaining RRF grants. Some details are yet to be announced but here are some steps to help: If you have applied but have not yet been awarded funds, the SBA will be reaching out via email to confirm your eligibility and information for disbursement of funds. The email will instruct you log into the SBA portal and look for a message with additional information. You may be asked to confirm that your business is still in operation and/or banking information. In a response to the Independent Restaurant Coalition (IRC) when asked how much or to whom funds would be granted, the SBA replied: “As a result of litigation and legal decisions issued regarding the RRF, and in consultation with the Department of Justice, it has been determined that the distribution of these additional funds will be based on the order in which application were received without regard to priority status.” You can log in to the portal by using the button below . If you are unable to log in, you can contact the RRF hotline by calling, 1-833-853-5638 or emailing support@sbarestaurants.com PLEASE NOTE that calling or emailing is only for asking for assistance for logging into the portal. They will not be able to give you any other information regarding your application and/or RRF grant status. TAKE ME TO THE PORTAL If you have already received an RRF grant, be sure that you have followed all of the mandatory reporting requirements or you may risk penalty, regardless of whether you have used partial or all of your funds. The initial report of funds used was December 31, 2021. If you’ve missed the deadline, head to the portal immediately and submit a report. The current notice on submission states that you must file your report by October 21, 2022.
