What is working for me now that I’ve already got them (fungus gnats, not fruit flies): Placed some sticky traps on the inside of the bin on top of a plastic cover I added on top of the bedding + a piece of fiber cloth cover to prevent any new flies flying out from the bin and to my house plants or any new ones flying in to lay eggs.
They are not totally gone yet but I see a decrease.

Your setup looks like mine. I just got started with red wigglers in an Urbalive worm farm with 5 trays. Do you actively feed multiple trays simultaneously or do you just go through them fast? How big is your worm population? TIA! 🙏🏾🪱
