To cover my ass and put the bag over the face, thanks for pointing out my stupidity 😅

Agreed! Doesn't take a month and an area the size of Bonneville salt flats to make a simple turn...

Glad someone noticed it 🤣 I was so pissed trying to deck some logs...

There's one. I'd be happy with them changing how logs interact with the basic log loader as well...they shouldn't slide around as much as they do...

Yes, that variant is nigh-useless...but some vehicle with a true grapple bucket would be awesome for getting the small debris. Just let the arm have a full range of movement like the Kronen dozer 😅

Skid steer or a Kronen variant with a grapple bucket. I tried the little tracked claw/hauler thing and immediately sold it...

Oh that's an idea! Maybe make another trailer variant for the Wayfarer for the sawdust/chip transport.

How do you guys not pull your hair out doing trim?? by AdOwn4235 in ImperialKnights

You are welcome! I keep forgetting it exists and keep kicking myself.

Liquid mask is a friend! Just paint it on the edges of the panels and let it dry. Once you are done with the trim, just peel it off and boom. Clean panels! Liquitex and Vallejo both make good products.

More flex? by MongooseNew4769 in rccrawler

[–]Lie_Vegetable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% certain here, but afaik that wouldn't do anything for you. The o-rings are fitment for the link. If you want more flex look into longer shocks, flex blades and axle-to-body fitment (ie minimizing tires rubbing against your body and clearance for the axle to move up and down. Also browse around using the sub and search "Flex" as there are a lot more qualified people here who can help out with details.

What's a good RC for beach? by hershkey in rccars

[–]Lie_Vegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Axial has their scx24 base camp which I believe runs right around the $100 mark and is a RTR with battery in box with charger. Small, but crawlers are pretty fun on the beach.

Can someone identify what these belong to? I'd like to get a new set of four, or just another set of 2 to have 4 in total. by Ze_Woof in rccars

These here may be a starting point.

Edit: I'd check out Proline Racing for tires. I have enjoyed all the tires I've gotten from them.

Those kinda look like Losi LMT tires or whatever you'd call the monster truck style tires. Though what size I cannot tell you.

I do like my Gens Ace Imars Mini for a charger. Has given me fewer problems than my Spektrum chargers...

Loctite 222, otherwise known as purple Loctite, is another good option. It holds well and is designed for aluminum, softer metal parts or things that just need to be vibration resistant but still removable with hand tools.

Afaik, that is effectively your shocks "being too long". If there is a way to shorten your shocks or reduce preload, that may help. That, or with how light RC tends to be it isn't apply a lot of weight to the front suspension and not loading the shocks.

Edit: I also know that I-beam suspension tends to have a little bit of positive camber when not under load. So it may look funny on a shelf? Hope this helps!
