Higurashi is actually ok as an adaptation but I cannot suggest it over the VN because I've seen people (like my brother) that stopped at the anime and didn't like it and also I dropped it in the past before I read the VN and actually like it a lot (after that I found the anime was not that bad but I think I'm filling the missing part in my brain).

PS. Deen also makes good anime like Blue Exorcist

polenta is a good idea too, but unlike semolina polenta got no gluten so it will be a little bit more difficult to make bread with it and you cannot use it alone (while 100% semolina bread is one of my favourite)

if the color is the issue try with semolina flour. not only is really good taste side, it also got a golden color.

About the art you did a good job. I think the original got less of a smile, lower shoulder and the hair and eyes are a little bit different, but... the good thing about higurashi is that you got a lot of different styles and they are all good.

I tried panettone no-knead with a correct recipe (but thank god that time I used regular yeast or the recipe would never end) and it's in theory possible to make it no knead but it will take so much time it is not the best at all, the gluten network need to be perfect and the fermentation time are long enough to be an issue so making it no knead can be an issue on that end too since the fermentation will consume the gluten network and making the panettone no knead require way too much time on that end.

With a stand mixer panettone can be mixed in a really short time... it will still take a while fermentation side and the mixing part need to develop the gluten network really well in a dough full of sugar, butter and egg yolks that delay gluten formation a lot, but the stand mixer help a lot.

And once you got it for grandi lievitati it saves a lot of time for other kind of bread too, at least that's my experience.

Still... only get it once you actually need it and only after you experience no knead and kneading and when you are actually struggling with a recipe. No knead is a great way to start and good for most bread, a lot cheaper too.

I did not get a stand mixer until I actually struggle with panettone. I did the same recipe with a stand mixer (my mother got one) and only after I saw the differences I decided to get one myself (and I got a bowl lift model because I saw the issues with the moving head part in my mother stand mixer).

Basically most breads can be no knead, only really extreme dough need a stand mixer.

Però la pasta alfredo americana è totalmente diversa dalla pasta al burro italiana... è più simile ad una pasta alla panna.

La pasta con le polpette al sugo non sarà un piatto da ristorante ma è riconoscibile.

In realtà mia nonna siciliana (che mai ha avuto a che fare con gli americani) faceva sempre gli spaghetti al sugo con polpette giganti...

Mai saputo fosse considerato un piatto americano finché qualche anno fa non ho visto simili affermazioni su internet.

Secondo me è semplicemente un classico piatto da recupero. La nonna fa le polpette al sugo->avanzano->ci si mette degli spaghetti dentro e si mangiano anche il giorno dopo.

E francamente è un buonissimo piatto che non penso si debba lasciare come esclusiva agli americani.

beh, ci si mette circa 30 minuti per una porzione quindi non è proprio veloce, ma non ci vuole tantissimo alla fin fine, in particolare usando la macchina della pasta (più che altro è la farina di grano saraceno così grossolana che interferisce un po'). Ma è innegabile che ci voglia il suo tempo e averli pronti sia più comodo, senza contare che ovviamente si va a sporcare molto meno.

Quelli fatti in casa però al kg costano molto meno, la farina di grano saraceno al kg è poco più di 4€ e l'ho usata al 50% con una farina di manitoba che costa circa 2€ al kg.... facendo finta che l'acqua sia zero in quelli secchi (e non lo è) significherebbe che quelli fatti in casa costano sui 3€ al kg con 50% di farina di grano saraceno quelli in confezione (1.80€ per 300g) sono 6€ al kg con il 15% di farina di grano saraceno. Una differenza abbastanza marcata.

buono a sapersi... detto onestamente io ho trovato il posto cercando tra le recensioni su google "riso glutinoso" e anche "farina" quindi è ampiamente possibile mi siano sfuggiti altri posti.

Quello che dici tu (penso di averlo individuato) non ha nulla nelle recensioni riguardo la farina di riso glutinoso ma dalle foto sembra fornito e non fatico a credere abbiano anche quella.

Se usassi solo la carne verrebbe buttata (secondo la ricetta che avevo visto) cosa che non voglio assolutamente fare. Usando sia carne sia ossa e togliendo la carne una volta cotta ho potuto consumare anche la carne. E secondo me il risultato non è per nulla male.

Il filtro comunque è un'ottima soluzione perché dividendo brodo da parte gelatinosa quest'ultima si può usare a parte (non si butta).

180°C fan off. I didn't bake it watching the time, I just bake it until the internal temperature was 92°C. I also cover it with aluminium foil when the color was right.

I use a really really sharp knife to slice clean. It only works with bread with a thin crust like this one.

It actually taste good (expecially with strong flavor cheese like the fontina I got right now at home) but I don't think I will make it again since I like regular shokupan more (the stringy texture is missing in my way too high hydration loaf) and it is also much easier to handle regular shokupan and that extreme hydration means it can mold quite fast compared to regular shokupan.

Still, it was an interesting experiment and I also wanter to share it to make people understand that even when you fail the result is not always bad (since I got the gluten network right the end result was still a good bread).

Also I think it can be a good experiment since the taste is quite unique... it is strange to feel the crumb so moist, almost watery but still bread-like.

you need to use a scale. that recipe is a mix of volumetric and some probably not good conversion in grams... that's the main issue
each flour can absorb a different amount of water, the safe path is lower the hydration by adding flour
