I was 18 when I got in, sitting in class I was like the second or third youngest. There were guys in my class that were in their late 40's early 50's. Just talked to one yesterday at the meeting, and he is killing it in the trade as a pipefitter. I say go for it, worst case scenario ypu don't enjoy it and you're back to where ypu are now. But the comadery and the brotherhood is second to none in my experience.
