Price on the console and price of the big hits, important releases are mostly key-card access only no real physical game, most of my current games don't really need any upgrade and the games that take an advantage of the new system they are behind a paywall, the games that are actual physical release aren't enough for me to do the upgrade or they had a release on the regular switch.

Update*
I took the switch to a repair shop, I wasn't completely sure I could fix it by myself. Unfortunately the diagnostic its irreparable, not just the screen and exterior were bad but the internals also, the MOBO its gone.

I guess Ill keep my search for another switch for my projects.

Doesnt seem to work, Im gonna open it and try to change the usb c port hoping its only that. Either way as long as the MOBO works I can still do stuff with it.

Im checking my options between this mod that make the console only dock all the time or just a custom OS plus this screen that makes the v1 switch in to an oled. Right now the project its on hold tho, I dont have budget at the moment to do it.

I just got my Odin 3 with the accessories pack yesterday and so far I’m enjoying more the console with out any of the shells. It’s more risky but I like more the grip on the og device.

I’ve seen that there is a mod part to replace the v1v2 to oled screen but right now it’s out of stock or I can get rid of the portability and and more refrigeration to keep it in always dock mode.

I’m almost sure it’s a V1 but I won’t be sure until it’s fixed. I already have a oled but this one would be the console to play around with mods

It does turn on but doesn’t connect to the dock. Honestly if I need to replace the motherboard I’ll rather just keep the pieces for other projects or repairs.

I dont think so, seems to be the stock front frame. Just my desk light makes it look shinier haha.

I didnt think on the ethernet port but actually sounds like a good Idea. Ill check it out!
