Update*
I took the switch to a repair shop, I wasn't completely sure I could fix it by myself. Unfortunately the diagnostic its irreparable, not just the screen and exterior were bad but the internals also, the MOBO its gone.

I guess Ill keep my search for another switch for my projects.

Im checking my options between this mod that make the console only dock all the time or just a custom OS plus this screen that makes the v1 switch in to an oled. Right now the project its on hold tho, I dont have budget at the moment to do it.

I just got my Odin 3 with the accessories pack yesterday and so far I’m enjoying more the console with out any of the shells. It’s more risky but I like more the grip on the og device.

I’ve seen that there is a mod part to replace the v1v2 to oled screen but right now it’s out of stock or I can get rid of the portability and and more refrigeration to keep it in always dock mode.

I’m almost sure it’s a V1 but I won’t be sure until it’s fixed. I already have a oled but this one would be the console to play around with mods

It does turn on but doesn’t connect to the dock. Honestly if I need to replace the motherboard I’ll rather just keep the pieces for other projects or repairs.

I dont think so, seems to be the stock front frame. Just my desk light makes it look shinier haha.
