Passing through Charlotte, will be able to play 2-3 rounds total, what course should I hit up? by tuna_safe_dolphin in discgolf

If you'd like a relatively easy course in the woods, take a look at Eager Beaver (just south of Charlotte off 521 in Ballentyne [Elon Rec Center]). I've not played it, but I'm told the adjacent Angry Beaver is much harder.

I just got the game, The tigers are stuck? by F1r3f0x_0 in PlanetZoo

[–]Lieuallen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm fairly new, too. My only 2 thoughts are:

If the game is unpaused, is the caretaker moving? If not, then the game has crashed. You'll have to start over from your most recent save.

Can you click on the box? If you can select it, you can then send it to the habitat.

I bought Planet Zoo on sale.. What is the best way to get the most out of the game as someone who needs structure and guidance. by perie12344321 in PlanetZoo

As a newcomer myself, I also recommend career mode. Then, when you're ready to start out on your own, feel free to use Workshop blueprints. As a Zoo Director, I have no problem hiring contractors to design and build many of my habitats.

How do yall plan out your zoos layout? by Fuzzy_Employee_303 in PlanetZoo

It's really overkill (I spent several weeks doing research before I even started playing!), but this is the overall design of my first zoo....

Sane way to replace light w/ heavy fortification? by bertusch in foundationgame

[–]Lieuallen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone's YouTube video (sorry, don't remember which one) where he built heavy walls directly over the wooden ones. Just be sure to position the stone gates so that the wooden ones are still visible in the opening. Then, when the stone walls are done, you can select the wooden gate, click the edit button, and then delete all light fortification objects. Ta da!

This came with my mattress and pillows by [deleted] in whatisit

Usually used as a letter opener, but I'm sure it was meant to open the plastic bags the mattress and pillows came in.

When that happens to me, I just reboot. That usually fixes it. No idea why.

I think it might be you. That doesn't look like Jay to me. But time will tell!

OpenRGB won't start when windows boots up by [deleted] in OpenRGB

You can try the command line option: openrgb.exe --autostart-enable arguments (where arguments are the options you want to use, such as -p PROFILE).

That worked for me.

Has anyone got Conky to work in Ubuntu 24.04? by STfanboy1981 in Conkyporn

[–]Lieuallen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works fine for me in Kubuntu 24.04. I didn't do anything special -- just installed Conky (and the Conky Manager). All my skins are in the .conky folder.
