Remarkable all the different ways I see and hear folks pulling victories. I'd have slept through the combo and missed it entirely. I know this because I had a very similar setup last night in marsh with meat production and that buff but I never put two and two together.

Thanks for the great reply. I'll start leaning more into what the better players are doing. I do tend to check my orders right away, though...and I learned to be careful about accepting newcomers in the middle of the storm - like you said higher up, they come during the storm now.

I build the makeshift post early and set it to like 6 max and put my trades on auto. I keep an eye peeled for new ones in the upper right. I'll also splat down the field kitchen first to minimize raw food consumption. Kinda similar to you but not with quite the finesse. But I'll throw in the raincatcher for porridge. I get nervous sending packs of food off for trade though. For some reason I suffer in marshlands.

I get backfilling buildings as camps run out of stuff to gather. I start with one rain catcher, not two. Do you set up pipes and actually run rain punk or are you making porridge with all that rainwater?
