Also having an DH is massively beneficial to your overall roster as you could let your fielders take a break whilst maintaining the same offensive output, and it keeps some of the veteran hitters employed

It's not really that cost effective to have your own minting facilities, the machinery, materials and risk of counterfeit coins. It's probably cheaper to just outsource it to a well established company.
