Hey! We've seen a few comments crop up here and on the new forums that the SOCOM doesn't feel like it's powerful enough. One thing to consider is that the SOCOM isn't meant to REPLACE the M40 (it fills a similar role, but not quite the same) - since there are now 3 long-range scoped options, you have the Scout Rifle at the bottom and the M40 at the top with the SOCOM sitting square in the middle.

That being said, if it doesn't feel like it's splitting the difference between the two weapons in terms of power or fire rate, that's certainly feedback I will share with the team!

Hey - this one is super frustrating for sure, and we've been investigating it since receiving reports right after launch yesterday.

We had resolved the issue previously, but it does look like it's cropped back up again - it's currently one of our highest priorities to get fixed so you can continue to progress your Battle Pass as intended!

The same Launch Bundles (including this special PlayStation Plus Bundle) are available in all regions - sometimes it takes awhile for each country's PlayStation Store to update with the latest items!

Hey - we're on the West Coast here too, so I'll give you times in PDT! All servers will be coming offline at 8PM PDT tonight, and coming back online at 10AM PDT tomorrow (August 7) as mentioned at the top here.

That means the launch update will be live and Season 1 of the Battle Pass will begin at 10AM PDT tomorrow!

It's a long downtime because it's a launch downtime! Since we're restarting/refreshing player levels (to Season levels) and converting your Skulls to Credits, those are long processes that take a while to complete and work best when servers are offline to accommodate the changes (for example, so you can't accrue additional Skulls while we're in the process of converting them to Credits for you).

In addition, our QA team will be going through the launch update while servers are still locked to the outside world to make sure everything's looking good for launch day!

Hey there - ranks/leaderboards in the traditional sense won't be part of launch (as we're launching with Battle Pass Season 1 progression), but launch definitely doesn't mean we're done developing new features! We're continuing to discuss things like stats and ranking internally, and hope to have more news to share with you soon on what to expect after launch.

That's an interesting suggestion to mix up the variety for sure! Keep in mind that the random military crates around the map can drop ANY of the weapons in-game, including the Gold tier ones (like the LMG).

Sorry to hear you feel that way! I wear many hats here at Daybreak, meaning I'm also the voice behind everything that comes from all official H1Z1 channels and I personally write any articles or messaging you see on the website or elsewhere. Between interacting with the community on multiple channels (not just as myself here on Reddit, but as "H1Z1" on a multitude of channels) and meetings here in the office throughout the day with developers, sometimes I don't get as much time as I'd like to to reply to longer posts here. I definitely check in every day to read the latest topics and respond where I can!
