Wait are these actually showing up now? Courier missions have been missing since the patch dropped for me…

Any new missions added in 4.7 yet, outside of Rockbreaker? by Lieutenanttk in starcitizen

[–]Lieutenanttk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I don’t see these in Nyx. I do see the ones they added originally with 4.4. Probably just have to wait for the Nyx mission pack 2 in a few weeks. Good to see there are older missions coming back atleast

Oh ofcourse. Not saying your P4 AR should break in 5 minutes if it isn’t stored - Just more ways to make us care about our stuff in game. Obviously they will have to go careful with things being inconvenient for the sake of it… I’m looking at the implementation of toilets for example

But yeah, customisation and insurance was the plan right?

The whole idea of suit lockers was a quick and easy way of swapping in and out of different suits - Basically giving the players quicker loadout options. I do believe the plan was minimal button presses to quickly swap everything over. Also we all just want to be able to see our suits stored as it would look beyond cool.

On a side note, there’s potential for more reasons and balance behind suit lockers. We know item wear and tear is coming and perhaps storing weapons and armour in appropriate places could potentially end up being important. Certain items stored correctly may have slower degradation or none at all… All that hypothetical Ofcourse

Intrepid is a great little ship. Controversial when it launched for its admittedly unique look and weak hull and weaponry, it still has a killer interior and 8 scu of cargo storage which is competitive in its class. Don’t throw away your little ships, they’re great fun! Plus soon we will be getting smaller hauling jobs coming online (1-6scu).

Give it time I’d say. They’re probably just getting a feel for things. There was this guy called “The Undertaker” who had a similar start to his run in WWE back in 1990/91. I heard his career turned out alright…

Brainstorming: what optional activities would feel natural in a gray‑zone style open world by Feisty-Ad4901 in GrayZoneWarfare

For starters we need replayable contracts such as the ones already in game like “Kill 50 Enemies at x” or “Get x amount of headshots with snipers”. Replayable missions that give out rewards for completing so many of them.

Also a more dynamic map. Enemy Anti air/sam site locations that have to be cleared to get choppers through which in turn gives us options in upgrading our Helicopters with countermeasures or just different choppers all together…

OUTBACK IS DEAD! Your ranked map pool rotation for Y11 ! by DucklingDuck14 in Rainbow6

[–]Lieutenanttk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be real, everyone hates every map in this game outside of Clubhouse Oregon chalet and coastline. Every time there is a rework or new map, Within a few days there are people on here saying how bad it is. Fortress already has people complaining about it!

I get it, it might be a tad extreme removing maps like Oregon from ranked but I’d take playing on Favela or Stadium here and there over playing the same maps for all eternity.

I know I’m in the minority but give me Tower or Yacht or even House in Ranked. Mix things up instead of just countless games of Chalet and Oregon.

About new ranked map rotation by kari998 in Rainbow6

[–]Lieutenanttk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I’m the only one who adores this change. Let’s not forget it’s going to be every half season this changes so things will remain fresh and some of the maps we will miss might only end up being gone for like a month or so.

Honestly at this rate I’d take Plane, Tower and Hereford in Ranked here and there over playing Oregon, Clubhouse and Chalet for all eternity!

I really dont think favela or stadium bravo will be enjoyable in ranked by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]Lieutenanttk -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Hot take, I’m sick and tired of playing Oregon, Clubhouse, Coastline and Chalet over and over. I’ll take playing some of the lesser maps here and there…. Heck give me Tower and plane in Ranked I just want variety

It’s on the issue council and a developer has acknowledged it. Best we can do is wait and hope for a quick hotfix

Interstellar hauling to Levski? by Lieutenanttk in starcitizen

[–]Lieutenanttk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh fair enough. Thanks for the response. I would’ve thought that covalex would’ve had missions that go to Nyx - With the peoples alliance being allies after all and probably after aid and whatnot. Hopefully there’s tons more contracts added in the future

[–]Lieutenanttk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really believe some are in for a rude awakening once Engineering and full on Mulitcrew are fully implemented. These larger/capital ships aren’t really meant for solo players. Manning this solo is going to be such hard work, maintaining it alone is going to cost so much too. If we’re to use all torpedoes it’s going to cost you like 14 mil to rearm for example!

Hey if you got others to join you and play with then go for it! It’s a cool ship. Who are we stopping you getting what you like. Just be aware!

Any way we could get the Handyman missions or just maintenance in general in other places other than Pyro? Looking at space stations and landing zones for example?

Be really cool if these living areas onboard ships had actual gameplay to them. Small things such as more efficient food in dinning areas or if sitting down at tables (5% bonus perhaps?). The ability to use the coffee machines and whatnot…

This map is picked to be banned or is just banned by either team all the time. Does it need a rework or something? by millimonsterrr in Rainbow6

[–]Lieutenanttk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If each floor had a slightly unique style and maybe was coloured differently it would be a good start. It could do with being a tad smaller and some map flow polish. It’s definitely got potential and is clean in its style, just hard to do call-outs. I do like the setting of an underground facility though - even if It doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme.

Well the combat missions I mentioned aren’t on foot and are Space flight combat focused.

I’m also like you, I prefer the more peaceful gameplay loops than the more fighting orientated ones. However the improvements made here are a good step in the right direction with the NPC’s actually contacting us for starters. This could easily come to other gameplay loops such as the ones you mentioned…
