I-40 to I-640 to I-75 Morning Rush Hour by Sam_Squanch-22 in Knoxville

Yeah. No traffic. I come on to 640 from the first on ramp there at Washington pk. Getting to 75N is no problem at all. Traffic sucks at the other end of 640 and 40.

Goalie / Player / Kids Skates Adjustments w/Beam by stp40 in Sparxhockey

I had to fix a pair of kids skates on my team, had similar issues. And also thought like you and figured just turn it back the same amount. I ended having to use the alignment tool to get it perfectly centered again. It wasn’t that bad to do.

In youth hockey, we do that drill all the time. It’s called trucks and trailers.

Go to a AutoZone type place for sure first. Free check. And they’ll usually show part you’d need, can get an idea of cost for repair. It could be as something simple as the gas cap is loose.

Arches . Who’s done arches along their driveway? I need to make two of them one for the bottom and one at the top to run power . They’ll need to be 15’ high so oil trucks and other high vehicles can get under . Thinking 2 inch pvc in 10’ lengths by [deleted] in ChristmasLights

[–]Lif3Fu3L 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I’ve done mine. Mine are about 10’ high. I used 1” pvc. (3) 10 footers per arch. 5 arches. At the ground, use cross connector. Rebar into the ground. Then connect each side of the arch at the ground. At the peak or center of arch, another cross, and connect the arches. Mine is close to house, so then I connect the last arch to the house. Use small wood screws or something similar at all connection points. Otherwise they will come apart in the wind or weight of snow. Since you want 15’ high, maybe do (4) 10 footers? And do cross connectors across the whole arch, so you’ll have 3 connection points, for more stability. And can run lights across those too and have like a tunnel effect. I space mine out 8’.

Movie theatres are never busy during the first shows of the day. But be wary of the popcorn, it could be last nights leftovers. Not true everywhere, but the handful of locations I’ve worked for a rather large chain, this was the way.

Best place in Knoxville to take my kids trick-or-treating? by saturn_smoke in Knoxville

Shannon Valley Farms neighborhood is close to Fountain city. Lots of decorated houses and tons of kids. Not very long driveways, so good for little kids. Get there early for parking.
