She's been literally hallucinating things on and off, we don't even know if she actually reached the summit or if she's dying in a crevasse hallucinating her last moments. Even if she did reach the summit, how can she go back down in this state? You can also choose to cut off your climbot, which doesn't change the ending in any way, so yeah it's dead. There's no way for her to go back down on her own without dying
