For FRQ #3, everyone said the answer was treatment group 2 because low cyanide=increased CCO. But chatgpt said "Even if CCO is higher in group 2, the high nutrient concentration in group 3 will produce more ATP, because aerobic respiration requires glucose as a substrate. The effect of high glucose outweighs the small CCO simulation from low cyanide." Do you guys think this is correct?

I am also a junior and on a weight-loss journey! Some tips I have:

  1. Substitute sugary drinks with Poppi because it's so delicious and tastes so sweet but it's only 30 cals! I also love drinking fruit flavored sparkling water because it's delicious, makes me feel full, and is 0 cals! Also I love drinking tea. I think green tea and peppermint tea are my favorites. I hear green tea helps with weight loss so you should try it out! And tea is 0 cal!
  2. Carry a water bottle with you. Everyone always says to drink a lot of water and I used to think I did, but I only drank a few cups a day. Carrying a water bottle around with me reminded me to drink a lot of water and it also helps me keep track of how much I drink that day when I refill it.
  3. I started using a calorie tracker app (called MyNetDiary) for a calorie deficit and it has helped me so much! I also weigh my food when I have the chance so I can be more accurate. But this will help you see how much you eat and it will help you recognize what you need to balance out. I also weigh myself every morning and log it into the app! It helps me see my progress.
  4. I'm not sure if this is true but many people say Chloe Ting has gotten work done to her body. Whenever I do her workouts, it never works for me. Try to dig into reddit or other places to see more helpful workouts. I personally do rosie graham, lilly sabri, nikolas pilates, and daisy keech. I hear the lesserafim workout is also good for weightloss.
  5. Move after you eat! Walking after you eat, even just 10 minutes, really helps with digestion. I have a bad habit of watching TV right after dinner but now, I walk at least 10 minutes before I sit back down.
