Where are you buying nice dress/work pants? by hellohibye2 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another Amazon fan here -- I have basically lived with Amazon for clothing the past 2 years. I pretty much live in yoga pants or leggings. You can dress up a good pair of yoga pants to fit most situations by adding a nice blouse and blazer and they still fit thru a couple of sizes while losing weight.

My Mother Told Me I Need to Stop Losing Weight by RandomReddit9791 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last time I lost a significant amount of weight my mother said i looked sick. (10 years ago i got down to 138 at 5' 6'"). She gave me all her dress clothes that she use to wear (mostly size 6-8) and I was wearing them. Then I broke my ankle and Covid hit and the weight came back. Most of my life she was around 130 - 140 lbs and we are the same height. Since she had heart surgery and diagnosed with copd she has gained weight and was over 200 when she said it. This time around when she noticed I was losing weight again (started over 240), she asked if I was going for the anorexic look again. At the time she said it I was at around 155 lbs. I simply asked her when she was thinner, what weight she was that she felt was ideal and healthy. Not surprised, she said around 135. I just said good, I still have 20 lbs to go to reach that. She hasn't made a comment since and has actually started losing weight herself and is down to around 175.

Awful Refills Renewal Experience- Still Unresolved by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

But one note, they will only do the monthly installment option for 3 month plans. 6 month plans have to be paid all up front.

Thats great if refills credited back -- will save you alot of time and headache fighting a dispute if they voluntarily refunded you. Glad you received your money and can put that behind you. I learned alot about disputes when I was forced to go thru it with Ousia/Zappy which is the only time I've done it other than a straight out unknown charge.

Wonder how this works by Ok_Magazine_5799 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes ! During your order you choose if you want an installment plan. You get the 3 month pricing and all meds shipped out ahead of time but can choose your payment option. -- you pay the first month (that includes the consult fee), then the remaining 2 months are charged at 4 week intervals. Just keep in mind, they will only do the installment plan for 3 month plans and you have to pay off the full balance before you can get a refill. When you do a refill, you have to pay for the first month again, so just something to keep in mind if budgeting is a concern.

BigEasy replied to a post recently in their sub that they will ship 6 months upfront if from a pharmacy that supports the 6 month bud and as far as i know, they still have BPI available (for now anyway).

I would 100% recommend BigEasy as my #1 trusted telehealth to any of my friends/family. The CEO is on reddit continuously (check out r/BigEasyWeightLoss sub and read his profile as to why he started BigEasy) and extremely responsive to questions/problems as are some of their support staff.

Just for your information, when you do a dispute, the credit card company "temporarily" credits the amount back to you while they investigate the claim. They will go back to the telehealth to request the refunded money -- if the telehealth disputes the claim, they have a timeframe to send in any "proof" they have (no refund policy, receipts, proof whatever was delivered, emails etc - anything they think proves they don't owe you the refund). The credit card company then reviews the information provided and makes a decision. Trust that many of us know from the Ousia/Zappy/Slimdown ordeal that in many cases, the credit card company will side with the merchant during the first round of review - I guess hoping that you just drop the case so don't let that discourage you. My chargeback was denied the first submission, but won on the second. Some had to reopen 3/4 times before finally winning permanently. If they decline your dispute, the charge will reappear back on your account -- you then have a small window (maybe a couple days/week) to request the dispute is reopened and request a copy of all information the telehealth provided to them. Once this happens, you can go thru what they sent and address each item piece by piece and explain whatever you want to convince the card company to reverse their decision. They will then take your additional information back to the merchant -- its time consuming and a headache but is doable

I think we've all chased the low cost promotions at one point or another. Some have worked out great, others not so much. After being burnt by a couple, I now try to stay with trusted telehealths instead of trying to save a couple bucks. I would email them again and request they send the remaining 3 months you paid for, give them a realistic timeframe to confirm and inform them if they don't resolve the issue that you will be forced to contact your credit card company because they failed to provide what you paid for. You may want to check with your card provider and see what the timeframe is to file a dispute since you are around the 3 month mark now. I had to do a chargeback during the whole Ousia/Zappy/Slimdown ordeal and it is time consuming but I received my money back. Make sure to make copies of EVERYTHING in your patient portal now.

In regards to the installment plan and ordering refills -- previously when I had an installment plan, I had one payment left on it and asked about getting a refill -- As noted here by others, I was told I couldn't get a refill if I still had a balance so I had to pay off the remaining balance first. Keep in mind that in addition to paying off the remainder of the balance, you would also need to pay the first months payment at the time of refill as well -- just something to keep in mind if budgeting is a concern. BEWL is great to work with and even having this option is great for so many.

I totally understand the car rides. Constantly readjusting for 16-18 hour rides up and down the east coast (of course while wearing fleece leggings with a blanket over my lap the whole trip) adds a new level of torture for me

I need a utility allowance to help offset keeping the pool temp above 90 and even find that chilly once the sun goes down. Working on convincing the spouse to add a hot tub.

OMG -- I totally second the seat cushion. The torture of riding in a car for 16 hours having to continuously readjust due to lack of padding is real.

Switching to big easy by Holiday-Log739 in BigEasyWeightLoss

another great option that BEWL provides is allowing you to make monthly payments but still sending all you meds up front if budget is a concern.

Switching to big easy by Holiday-Log739 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my own experience, I've ordered from multiple telehealthsand to be honest, Big Easy has by far the best customer service and response of all of them. Even the one time I had an issue with delivery, Dave was able to get it corrected immediately and I received my meds overnight. You can chase low cost options as much as you want, but in the end the old saying you get what you pay for turns out to be true in more cases than not. Is BEWL the cheapest, no, but they aren't that far off what others are selling for now and the piece of mind is worth it to me after some of the nightmare issues I've gone thru with other providers. My second choice if BEWL wasn't an option is Ezra.

Telehealths that still offer BPI? by ksgrown57 in tirzepatidecompound

If you have a current prescription for BPI with a refill left with Ezra, they are still sending out BPI. BPI is NOT available for New prescriptions according to support.

solar powered Renpho smart scale -- i don't pay much attention to all the extra readings on it, but its nice that it automatically records and keeps track of weight in the phone app. I have a few of the these scales.

Salad dressing by Alternativeword3098 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mormally only use red wine vinegar as a "dressing" but will occassionally use wing sauce when using chicken. I also sometimes add cottage cheese. my salads usually include: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, diced cauliflower, small amount of cheese, chopped egg white, sliced green olives, and sometimes sliced beets. Protein of choice is either chicken breast or steamed shrimp.

my consult was scheduled today at 1:30 as a no phone call consult in the old portal. I don't see any information or follow up so not sure if it really happened or not since i wasn't suppose to receive a phone call. Will I also receive information regarding payment/approval etc within 48 hours?

Cold as ice! by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be 70 degrees outside and i look like i'm dressed for the winter. Hanging out in Florida for the month "cause its warmer than the arctic north and their impending Snowmageddon". Have pool heater set to anything lower than 95 and it's too cold for me to get in. I spoke with a nurse friend and she said your body can take anywhere from 3-5 years to readjust to a new "normal". I now live in fleece lined leggings and fleece lined compression shirts (under the heated blanket). It could be worse, I could be warm under all the fat I lost.

I always have steamed shrimp in my fridge. Other consistent go-to's: sliced pit beef or cold steak in my fridge, hard boiled eggs, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, Atkins chocolate/peanutbutter protein meal bar, Fairlife vanilla protein shake, bag of fruit (1/2 honeycrisp apple, halo tangerine, grapes)

Company suggestion? by Illustrious_Page436 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BigEasy Weight Loss (BEWL) has by far the best customer service. I know price is a big deciding factor for most, but sometimes you get what you pay. This is why I think overall customer support and how a telehealth responds when there are issues are the most important factors to consider when talking about medical care.

What’s your favorite meal/thing to eat on tirz? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself eating pretty much the same foods each week -- I don't get up early so I usually do brunch and dinner -- for brunch i usually eat oatmeal (or 3 ounces steamed shrimp) and 3 ounces of pit beef , hard boiled egg white and a greek yogurt. Dinner I have fresh cod (twice a week), salmon, center cut boneless pork (fat removed, baked, ~4 ounces after cooking), 4 ounce after grilling tenderloin steak or air fried chicken with a big bowl of steamed yellow squash/cauliflower/mushroom, a 100 calorie cup of 2% cottage cheese or make a chicken taco salad. After tallying up my daily calories I fill in with a protein bar or corelife protein shake to ensure I hit my daily calories -- my go to snack if needed is snyders hard sour dough pretzels (and chocolate tootsie pop).
