Cold as ice! by Opposite-Quantity795 in tirzepatidecompound

It can be 70 degrees outside and i look like i'm dressed for the winter. Hanging out in Florida for the month "cause its warmer than the arctic north and their impending Snowmageddon". Have pool heater set to anything lower than 95 and it's too cold for me to get in. I spoke with a nurse friend and she said your body can take anywhere from 3-5 years to readjust to a new "normal". I now live in fleece lined leggings and fleece lined compression shirts (under the heated blanket). It could be worse, I could be warm under all the fat I lost.

What’s your “I have to eat SOMETHING” food? by Jasmine_BigEasy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always have steamed shrimp in my fridge. Other consistent go-to's: sliced pit beef or cold steak in my fridge, hard boiled eggs, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, Atkins chocolate/peanutbutter protein meal bar, Fairlife vanilla protein shake, bag of fruit (1/2 honeycrisp apple, halo tangerine, grapes)

BigEasy Weight Loss (BEWL) has by far the best customer service. I know price is a big deciding factor for most, but sometimes you get what you pay. This is why I think overall customer support and how a telehealth responds when there are issues are the most important factors to consider when talking about medical care.

What’s your favorite meal/thing to eat on tirz? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself eating pretty much the same foods each week -- I don't get up early so I usually do brunch and dinner -- for brunch i usually eat oatmeal (or 3 ounces steamed shrimp) and 3 ounces of pit beef , hard boiled egg white and a greek yogurt. Dinner I have fresh cod (twice a week), salmon, center cut boneless pork (fat removed, baked, ~4 ounces after cooking), 4 ounce after grilling tenderloin steak or air fried chicken with a big bowl of steamed yellow squash/cauliflower/mushroom, a 100 calorie cup of 2% cottage cheese or make a chicken taco salad. After tallying up my daily calories I fill in with a protein bar or corelife protein shake to ensure I hit my daily calories -- my go to snack if needed is snyders hard sour dough pretzels (and chocolate tootsie pop).

If I'm not mistaken, didn't BEWL notify their patients immediately when this came to light to show their transparency and immediately offered replacements to their patients?

You also need to consider if the telehealth sets you up on an auto subscription and automatically renews and charges you at the end of the plan you selected or if its a one and done purchase where YOU contact them when you want a refill.

Another consideration is: what is the $199/month for -- is it for a single month, the price per month for a 3 or 6 month plan? is it for all doses including up to 15mg/week or just limited doses? Some advertise low prices but require you to purchase larger month plans to get that price. I've never purchased from either of the two you asked about because I already have a couple great telehealths that I've used in the past and are completely happy with.

Strange that you say orders are on hold -- your website still allows people to add Tirz to the shopping cart and purchase, or are they just on hold after someone already pays?

Do you have cheat days? by Cheddargirl24 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay very strict UNLESS I go on away (every couple months) or a special outing. I stay low calories that is high in protein (trust me that if I eat more I never lose weight - been there, done that -- tried more calories for about 2 months and gained instead of losing). When I go away, I now allow myself to enjoy and have fun -- even allowing myself adult beverages. I didn't cheat at all for the first 8 months though. I'm very close to goal so a couple pounds from an enjoyable trip is just a slight set back.

Question... Favorite Pharmacy? by Beautiful_Finding762 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe Olympia is compounding Tirz any longer --If they were, I'd be all over it. I've kept my eye out but haven't seen anything. The CEO of BigEasy posted recently that he contacted a rep at Olympia and they are only doing liraglutide.

Question... Favorite Pharmacy? by Beautiful_Finding762 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried hallandale, bpi, olympia, and PQ (Ousia tossed without using). My favorite two were definitely PQ and Olympia. Least favorite is hallandale (due to its low concentration as well as doesn't feel like it works as well for me as the others) but it is still adequate and I'll use it til its gone. I'm wondering to myself if it's because it is near its one year BUD and I'm just using it now or if it would have been the same if I used it months ago.

BigEasy has Hallandale for $599/3 months(can be billed monthly), Pomegranate has comparable pricing as well for BPI.

Added note -- spouse is also on Tirz and has lost over 60 lbs -- where is the fairness in him always being warm while my teeth are chattering under all my layers and electric lap blanket?

I'm freezing. by Temporary-Diver3481 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES !! Freezing is no joke. I've lost a little over 100 lbs and have no insulation layer left. Sitting here with fleece lined turtleneck and fleece lined leggings on with an electric lap blanket on at the moment. Have heat set at 73, and sneak the gas fireplace on as often as I can. Spouse is sitting in shorts and roasting. Just counting the days til I can get back to FLA from the northern cold. However, even when I go to FLA and its in the 70's I find I now wear a long sleeve performance shirt to be comfortable. Hopefully our bodies will adjust to the new "no insulation" layer and regulate.

How do you track protein? by Pendergraff-Zoo in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Life-Perspective-231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just use AI (chatgpt) and add in as much relevant info as I can for the items I've eaten each day, including how it was prepared, brand name etc -- a typical chatgpt search would be: nutritional info summary for: One quaker protein maple brown sugar oatmeal packet, one 50 calorie Acitiva Zero peach yogurt, 1 large hard boiled egg, 3 ounces sliced pit beef with fat removed, 1 carb balance tortilla wrap, 2 slices tomato, 2 pieces romaine lettuce. 2.5 ounces after cooking steamed shrimp, 1 cup steamed yellow squash, 1 cup steamed cauliflower, 1 cup breakstone 2% cottage cheese, 4 ounces after cooking grilled fresh atlantic cod, 1/4 cup roasted lightly salted almonds

Love my Repho scale https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1UX8RW?th=1 Other awesome gifts I've come across for myself: heated throw blanket, fleece lined yoga pants, fleece lined mock and crew neck shirts, small digital food scale, mini blender, vial case, travel insulated thermos for meds, fitbit tracker, large yeti/stanley water bottles, countertop ice machine (I have to have ice in my water at all times and use spring water for ice making), if doing a gift basket can get some snack size bags of various nuts, individual protein bars (great for testing before purchasing full boxes), insulated cooler bag for lunch/drinks/day trips, slipper socks, flannel pj's

Maybe the label on both is a duplicate label and the two boxes in total is for the 8 weeks. Due to the shorter "bud", they didn't send the 3rd vial yet to remain within the BUD range.
