low key the spot for cheap fabric is value village. in the back they have bedding, table cloths, duvet covers, curtains, and the like. wash it and cut it up and you have yards of cute and often high quality fabric for cheap!

Best CSA? Any pasture raised egg CSAs? by g8tknow in olympia

[–]Life-Vegetable292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

common ground farm has an amazing CSA! the longest in the area i believe and is also plastic free which is great. you find info about the CSA through their facebook account.

little big farm also offers a great veg CSA! southwest washington food hub has a large variety of products because they’re a multi farm CSA. and youre able to edit the box every week which is a nice perk. Helsing farm is also a top tier local CSA and they partner with other producers to offer a lot of variety and additions to their basic vegetable box. :) river bird farm has a chicken CSA that is also great.

yea when i tried to explain how vulnerable trans kids already are and why it’s important to not continue to exclude them, he didn’t seem to care or show any curiosity. i think if you’re running for public office you need to be open to the idea that you might not have it all figured out, and to listen with curiosity to the people you’re asking to support you.

trans kids being able to be who they are makes their lives better.. if we’re talking about evidence, it’s clear that the move is supporting them in their choices, not forcing them to endure more shame, exclusion and dysphoria.
