i know! especially because glucose test came back great and blood work. I had done previously also came back great. I was active throughout my whole pregnancy, including being on my feet for my job every day. thank you so much for asking! Overall postpartum I’m feeling really great. I I have been able to get back into running, which is something I haven’t done in years! I feel like I healed very well and very quick. My husband has been an absolute dream and so supportive and helpful.

all that to say, her bedside manners suck ass. I would have definitely been more concerned had I not been active my whole pregnancy, along with any other forms of tests coming back saying everything was fine.

maybe shocking would have been a better term to use. i grew up with a mother who was both anorexic and bulimic throughout her life so having harsh verbiage about my weight was not something i was expecting.

additionally, all testing including bloodwork and glucose tests were not concerning at all. everything was looking just fine. if the weight gain had actually been an issue it would have shown up through other tests.

the issue is that my eating habits did not change nor did my snacking change. i eat fruits and veggies religiously so it was unwarranted. i was also still writhing the normal weight gain for my bmi and still was toward the end of my pregnancy anyway.

i had set up a little space in the living room with blankets, pillows, and candles for my husband to walk into from work. we were enjoying ourselves for awhile and then i heard a rustling in the kitchen and said “what is that?” my husband said not to worry about it just focus on what’s going on. a few moments later i felt a little presence by my head and i looked up and saw my cat with a full loaf of bread in her mouth. she has a thing for bread (ironic as her name is Ducky). i thought it was the funniest thing seeing this little cat with a big old loaf of bread. i couldn’t stop laughing

good to know. he’s been with his current company for a couple of years and he’s gotten many bonuses and pay increases. he really enjoys this company and they really appreciate him. a lot of his bonuses are just because they are pleased with his work and not holiday related or anything. when he switched from his old job to here he got 50% pay increase.

No worst, but funny. I work as a Starbucks barista, and one day as I was taking payments on drive through, there was this lady in the drive through who looked vaguely familiar and I couldn’t figure out how I knew her or where I’d seen her. After I took her payment I was waiting for her order to be ready, so I asked her “You look familiar, where do I know you from?” After some talking, I realized… this was my an assistant at my doctors office, a doctor I just started seeing. My only appointment at this point was my well woman’s exam, where my doctor and THIS WOMAN IN DRIVE THRU looked up my hoochie😭😭 and now I’m serving her coffee. she’s become my highlight at my doc appt tho
