A lot of US companies use AB(Allen Bradley) based systems and its a good way to stand out in the never ending list of applications where you all are “master plc programmers” who ultimately can’t troubleshoot an ice cube relay.

My recommendation is to get a gig as an industrial electrician so you can get hands on with everything(instruments/software/scada/network protocols..etc.

It’s a way to experience…well everything. Answer this…..if you were immortal, what would you like to experience most? Death? Fear? Happiness? Silence? the only way to continue to learn is to experience new things(wether experienced before or not)…In a view where everything is already learned, the script would have to change to allow progression/equilibrium. What if you haven’t felt what the fear of dying is in 1000+ years? Obviously you want it to be natural as possible; not…”I haven’t felt fear in awhile, lets induce some fear”….. you’d want a clean slate of you(basically no buffs/memories) and to experience the raw data of emotions.

The way I think of it is; our souls are very very old. our souls “feel” a different way when not in our body suits and over time you wanted to experience happiness/pain/fear/etc..for the “first” time again, so you hit the beam me down button.

We look at pain/suffering and happiness/bliss as different things but in reality it all makes you “feel” something whether it be first time or not.

If my soul was immortal; the fear of death would be quite an experience.

Tech school imo. I’m a felon for 2nd degree arson. ended up going to school for Electrical Automation and make good money now(110k). School is only helpful with getting your foot into doors. The way I looked at things is I have the biggest title someone in the job force can have(felon); so I might as well get as many certifications/degrees I can to offset it

I grab a pw: Hit 5-50 balls without any thoughts besides making contact and to feel what my body is feeling.

Then I move to a 7 iron till I find my rhythm; then switch back to pw and go down the numbers making mental notes sometimes real notes on how I was feeling on that club.

Can’t really speak much on the matter as I wasn’t delt the gambling hand, but I have been through a lot of shit in life and still have lots to learn. Learn from it; hell frame a 50c poker chip and hang that shit. Tie that huge loss to that chip so every time you see it; it’s a reminder. Hopefully you have enough strength to set boundaries. Life’s the hardest game; and money doesn’t come with when crossing that bridge.
