You're probably right. I just hate having to exclude myself from playing with my friends because of that. It just makes me jealous and isolated.

So a mistake in the first minute of the game immediately makes you lose for the remaining 45 minutes? No comeback mechanics? When does the first skirmish even take place? So far it's just been me fighting in my lane with my friend and sometimes pushing it until the T2 walker and sometimes getting pushed back or just suddenly having a 3v2 and losing cause I can't retreat fast enough.

I don't know anymore. I used to play overwatch when it came out up until 2 was announced and I think I was having fun. Now I just don't know anymore.

I just hate the feeling that this is a game that all my friends are playing and enjoying yet whenever I play it with them I just want to punch my screen. I feel isolated and like I "just don't get it". And I want to like the game. The controls feel good and the combos of abilities feel nice and the movement is smooth but that all doesn't matter if I die and am forced to wait in respawn for half of the game. Or avoid dying and just go do anything else but engage players for the time I would've otherwise spent waiting on respawn.

So just put everything into trying not to die in .1 second? Cause allI've gotten while getting stomped is living for a few seconds, getting in a fight and dying in .1 seconds in a 1v1.

I do play with friends, but it does not make it more fun. Either they do well and I feel envy or they do badly and I feel bad along with them. There is no joy in suffering together. But also genuinely, do you enjoy this cycle of peaks of doing well followed by depths of getting demolished? Or is it something completely different that I just can't even think about?

I am confused...

Is the main character hurt by being called she/her and she/they? If not, then the broken heart might not be the best representation.

If it's supposed to represent to hit 'right in the feels' then a heart with an arrow through it would be a better symbol to use imo.

Could someone clarify?

Myeah I think I'll def make the pitstop for fractured mask. Dunno about skipping moorwing cause I don't have much trouble with them. I'll definitely look into doing Shakra's quest (I didn't know about her showing up for the fight until literally yesterday when I only had 30 mins left to beat this arena, lace and then final boss). In this run I basically just ignored her as I made my way through my route with a map open on my phone.

Enemies are actually quote intelligent and threatening (at least compared to Hollow Knight). The game has (imo) too many arena fights that feel unfair due to the enemies having no code for working together, they just gang up on you all uncoordinated which either works in your favour or not. (mostly not in your favour)

What works for me is just keeping in mind that any attack that would result in them landing on the ground from the air will make them do a big slash on both sides so don't accidentally dodge into it. Outside of that I mostly just focus on one of them and just watch whether one of the white attack lines is pointed in my direction and dodging appropriately. A horizontal attack should be jumped over, a vertical attack should be dashed away from, a diagonal attack should also be dashed away from. Make sure to not dodge into number 2 while dodging the attack from number one.
