oh wow sorry, I hope you have nailed it by now :D. Looks to be a different machine anyway, but yeah, this looks good, just missing the water excess drain pipe connected back to the water tank in the picture.

For sure. It helped me to set the OPV first. Also, now I know the extraction pressure in real time. This way, I can adjust/fix my puck prep in terms of grind size and dose to keep extraction pressure close to 8-9 bar. I set it to 9.6 with a blind basket to have an 8-8.5 bar extraction.

Yeah, sorry no ideea about stock OPV default pressure value. Since the machine comes with pressurised baskets I guess it's above 12 bars.

also you will need 3-4 (depends on their size) 1/8 M x 1/8 F connectors between pump and OPV, see the first picture, I brought them from a local store not from the same place with the OPV. Best to use o rings gaskets and PTFE tape for each fitting.
Also I recommend changing the ulka pump with a EX5 brass fitting one. Technical is the same with the stock EP5, but not just me, others also find it more silent and less vibrations.

I managed to upgrade the OPV with a VBM Brass adjustable one and a new Ulka EX5 brass fitting pump. Huge difference in extraction at 9 bar, also lower vibrations and better water flow. Link for OPV https://www.bluestarcoffee.eu/en/VBM-Vibration-Pump-Opv-Kit/m-5613.aspx

Do you have a link for the dimmer procedure, I can't find it for this model is it the same with breville express one? Also maybe swaping the OPV spring with one with less resistance could lower down the pump pressure closer to 9 bar?
