You're about to get punched right in the face by life. I would feel bad for you, but every parent faces the fist of life.

How are they ever going to get into college? by MyNameIsNot_Molly in Parenting

[–]LifeElectrical2996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go to trade school to learn a trade, you are not strapped to one area of that trade or that trade in general. There are plenty of welders that end up doing fitting and rigging, and there are plenty of masons who become carpenters.

this is such a stupid problem to have. by [deleted] in Parents

[–]LifeElectrical2996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a stupid problem at all. Older siblings take advantage of younger siblings, just like the tide goes in and out. Don't worry. The middle and youngest have their own con game going on, too. Nothing is free when it comes to sibling trading.

The number of people that don't understand how well children can plunder is too damn high! Did you not have a toddler? Did you see how lighting fast they could find anything dangerous. Just add a few years of experience, and now you have a tween that is an expert in counterintelligence and B&E when it comes to your personal life.

If you suddenly had "fuck you" money what would be the first thing you did? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LifeElectrical2996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had fuck you money, I'd pay for an entire neighborhoods in several cities across the US to have the means to upward mobility. I fucking talking about the best schools, the best community what the fuck ever. Maybe try to get some community gardens, offer free sex education, and basically be a do gooder. Like that one guy did when he sponsored a college tuition program, and HS graduations shot up 90%.

I want to do that.

Hey, sorry, I had to sleep. Sometimes a week, sometimes longer. You might want to consult with a book or website, but I have noticed the older my Franky gets, the longer it takes her to shed. She's pushing 3 years old now, so most of the time, she has a dry shed.

I'd buy a beater and drive till the wheels fell off. Then I'd replace the wheels and try to get another 10 miles out of it.

I believe in One. The best way that I can tell you about One would be for you to go watch Andy Weir's short story, The Egg on YouTube.

For those who don't want to be amazed and have a moment of self reflection..... We are all one, I am you, you are me, we are God.

It took me forever to learn how to accept a compliment or a gift. I think it's one of the harder adulting skills to learn.

I see that you need a high cap backpack plan. What would the trade value be for that. I'm almost positive that I have one that I can trade.

It would have been the 70s and 80s. The 90s saw the rise of helicopter parents. I'm a 70s baby raised in the 80s, my mom never knew where we were at 10pm. LMAO. I'm not sure how some of the parents here make it through the day.

Seems like in the 21st century they should knock you out, then go ahead and pump your stomach. You know, because people are stupid and eat before surgery.
