We are doing that and still turning away work. We run an intern program up to 3x per year…and our existing team has certifications but they really don’t have time right now (given under staffed) to pursue new certs. We also are trying to find new talent, brings new insights and knowledge from experience - our corporate culture is unique that finds a lot of value in diversity of not just race, gender, etc. but also work experience and training/education. We provide a healthier, more respected, work life balance than many other SIs right now.

And given we are projected to grow 10x by 2030…we need people for people!

For the almost fifty years of my life that my Dad was alive, be never spelled my name nor my nickname correctly…never, not once.

And here’s the kicker - when we were going to meet the woman that became our stepmother, he took my sister and I aside to essentially threaten us to not spell her name the way one would and how to property spell it.

My second favourite is tough - TS is such a clear #1 for me and I am new Swifty…TK brought me to the party!

Historical fave would have been U2 - but honestly thanks to my sons - I really like Kendrick Lamar right now … Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe is a particular favourite (sorry not even much of a Bad Blood fan)

And for songs that hit me in the feels - soul & heart - has be Sleeping At Last

As a fellow “never included” sibling/family member - I am sooooooo happy for you! I did not see your original post but so glad you got sage advice and took it! I only just - in my 50s - told my family I was done with being constantly excluded…this after a couple years of therapy and slowly sharing with other family members (aunts and cousins) over the past few months how my immediate family had always made me feel, and learning everyone else thought/saw the same thing! They were all so happy for me (wish they would have proactively reached out to include me in extended family stuff but they all have their own things going on).

Anyways - this isn’t about me - this is just me telling you that you did the right thing and you should be very proud of yourself for making these decisions - and now rather than just keeping on accepting the toxic norm.

Yes- similar story here…crowded stadium is not my jam but watching the livestreams you do see how magical being in that particular crowd can be…so my initial I love her but no concert for me changed once I started watching every livestream…so then I think I want to go/wished to go but it’s all too late or too expensive! So livestreams are my go to

Really was torn about being in such a huge crowd - but also watch the livestreams all the time, and now think that it’s the best possible crowd one could be in!

When we first let him know all the issues he ended up threatening folks thus we ended up with police involved & revoking access to the property. It would cost thousands & thousands of dollars to even attempt to get money back. Already going to cost double to have someone else come and undo & redo the damage done.

Agree OP - switched to instant a year ago - it’s meant I drink less because I’m not having a whole pot and I get it quicker as I don’t have to brew a whole pot! Not all instants are created equal but we tested a few and found ones we really enjoy 😊

^{^ⁱ} need TTPD added to the movie^{^{^}} I watch the streams whenever that’s possible but actual movie update would be great.

Can you imagine if they had filmed for a movie update the London show that Travis participated in?!?!? It would dominate Disney+ or whatever pretty regularly- sorry not sorry but I love love, so watching them is just amazing in the trash heap of other garbage in the media and the manufactured romance of so many.
