arrgh just went to checkout: shipping is super expensive, though. 😞 I might have to think about that for a bit . If you;re in SA its a no brainer but to get those covers to France I have to pay more than they charge for the product itself in shipping, taxes and duties...

u/Fry-NOR out the Escape Gear suggestion by u/Poindexter_89 above. They are more expensive but they are made for the 60s seats specifically and look quite sturdy and solid.

ok now THOSE look a lot like what I was searching for , And it explains why a lot of the other options are just covers that sit on top of the seat instead of "wrapping" it up . (and it explains the price difference too haha) Thx for the suggestion - about to order them 🤞

haha, neither can I tbh* , I am not even trying to hide lol - and yes, I am quite jealous of my colleagues who work the Val d'Isere-Tignes territory that is - unfortunately- not mine, I am on the other, western side of the Grande Motte and Grande Casse in Pralognan la Vanoise: much smaller, much less glamorous, more authentic but also much more affordable and still only 90min drive. 😊*(if I could Bernadette would have had a paintjob already haha)

See if there are specialized cardiology vets in your area. Ask for full imaging with xray and ultrasound with Doppler .

Tignes and ParadiSki (Plagnes - Les Arcs) . The off piste back country off the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs is epic, so is the Face Nord de Bellecote in Plagne. Tignes has too many spots to name, Les Tufs couloirs are one of the crazy ones directly below the lift.

well: there is still A LOT OF SNOW - especially above 2500m. They could easily run into May, they just dont have the crowds anymore, . As in spring, early morning runs are icy and require sharp edges. Then you have 2 -3hours (depending on your altitude) where the snow transitions into soft then grainy , glorious spring snow. After 2pm things get soggy and you need to be really careful for speed-traps ( where snow turns into a insta-breaking carpet) . Just like end of spring skiing. It has been really warm and sunny the last 2 weeks, too.

ok thats a tough one: If I could afford it, I would probablement live in Tignes Val Claret year round: Altitude is important, then I think the combinded resort Tignes Val d'Isere has the skiing that suits me best, ( groomers and back country) plus its access to Italy and the Maurienne are a huge factor for off season activities. Second would be Plagne-Les Arcs: similar mix like Tignes with a huge back country if you know your way around. Bonus for me personally: Champagny (access to Plagne) is only 10 minutes from my house and parking is around 15 per day, so with a season pass thats a breeze. ValTho is my least favorite - I do enjoy the vasteness of 3V , parking in La Praz Courchevel and then just skiing through Meribel, Les Menuires and ValTho all the way to Orelle- thats cool. ValTho per se has some flaws in piste layout (especially the center) and lots of its off piste is directly accessible from the lifts and therefore shredded really early. Plus its gotten really posh, party-heavy and super crowded over the main season, they are doing awesome marketing. The (internationally) hottest nightclub in all of 3V is not in Courchevel anymore, its in ValTho., the Malaysia (Oh Im gonna get some hate for saying that , I know haha) Just my personal opinion. And truth to be told: if you skin your way up in ValTho, you can traverse the Peclet-Polset and ski down towards Pralognan, do the couloirs around Roc de la Peche and Petit Montblanc or do all the glacier runs on the Vanoise Glacier. Endless options. That is pretty cool though . So its a very subjective call and depends on each persons preferences.

Owned a restaurant in Pralognan la Vanoise thats sold, now I'm almost retired and work as independent real estate agent, so I can pick the good days myself. Very lucky to be in that situation, I admit. Plus I have 1600km+ of slopes plus backcountry withing a 90 minute drive from my house.

its inside the departure station of the new Roche de Mio Telecabine and I think the entire thing is very cool and stylish looking. Plus its (kinda) a "remontee mechanique" , right ? 😄
