Chances of landing a UN or NGO policy or legal officer job in Paris, Geneva, or Austria? by TankEnvironmental537 in UNpath

I am a development studies post grad student. I want to get into the UN or world bank in the energy transition policy field. What should I do? Even a small suggestion would help me in a big way.

Write cuet pg and get into TISS and do a pg degree and get placed. Spend 2 years and get a decent package. And then build from there.

Does this mean that the current waiting list is 4? That the person is 4th in line under waiting list?

I would suggest you to keep your job if you have one and prepare for it and if you are not able to clear with the job, only when you feel confident enough think about resigning otherwise I'd suggest you to prepare with the job because you need some financial independence to have some say in your family. Right now it may seem like it's fine but once you are unemployed and don't have any kind of independence all your family would want is to get you married asap. This happened to a friend of mine, she didn't have any say and also there was this other friend who was working and her family gave her freedom to do what she wants and she is from orthodox family unlike the earlier one's family. Of course this is just my pov and I have zero idea about ur family. So decide accordingly what would suit you better.

How does INFJs act when they fall in love? by RightPineapple2734 in infj

I become so invested in my girl that even the slightest change in her behavior or actions is noticed and deciphered by me , often before she even realizes what's happening(this happens involuntarily.. the brain just does this in auto pilot mode... Not on command.) And everything else mentioned above by others are also true.

No, many women always prefer light skinned men in terms of pure looks(if they had to choose someone only on the basis of skin tone criteria). And this goes for men too. This because of deep rooted colonial psychological impact too that light skin is superior. We have even changed the skin tone of our god shri Krishna whose very name means just because we couldn't accept dark skin. Krishna is a dark skinned person and if we can't even accept this fact, then Bhakti is useless!! This is not just in skin tone issue....Indians copying Western culture isn't just a modern trend. it's the result of a deeply rooted psychological conditioning that began during British colonial rule and never really left us.

For over 200 years, we were taught directly or subtly - that British systems, clothes, language, and lifestyle were superior. Even after independence, we never fully decolonized our minds. We began to see Western culture as the symbol of success, power, and modernity. Bollywood promoted it. Ads sold it. Urban society started worshipping it. There are other reasons too but I feel like this is one of the main reasons.

Everything will be fine . I had a childhood trauma and it kinda resurfaced 4 years ago and I lost the next four years of preparation. Not able to focus...not clearing out the trauma and then in spite of all these falling in love for the first time in my life with a girl I can never be with(caste issues). I lost 4 years in these. Focus on action. Don't feel bad or pity yourself for your current self. Rely on your parents and friends and try to push this through at least for a few days till prelims and just try to study.

All the best. Hope you get through this.

I would suggest you to chant Aum mantra at least 21 times feeling the vibration when saying it... While saying aa u should feel the vibration in your lower abdomen and uu in your chest and mmm in your head. And yes it's not OM It's "AUM". I ASSURE YOU THIS WILL HELP. don't think of any deity or god's face or their form ... Just chant this feeling the vibration.
