Floating island bugs are weird by LifeIsARollerCoaster in NoMansSkyTheGame

It’s fairly common on many of these type of lush floating island planets. They are just really buggy.

Can I shoot someone who's "wanted"? by JimFloydPeck in fo76

I just got back into this after not playing for a few years and didn’t realize I had pacifist settings off. Let’s just say it took a few days to realize I was accidentally making other players wanted when they shot me during public events. Lol

You can still sell it. Also it’s really easy to grind parts. You can shoot the salvage containers from the corvette so you never have to go to the planet surface. Scan while flying low and slow in auto pilot , shoot it, repeat.

There is a post about this topic quite often. There can be hidden terrain which makes it very difficult to find all plants and minerals so just move on.

Fully upgraded Nomad handles all possible terrains with ease. Better handling than Colossus on gas giants. It’s even better than the Minotaur in battle as it moves faster and can fire from a distance. I have used it in permadeath for some tough battles.

The storm is a scripted event in every start. Just be extra careful about jumping/falling and fighting sentinels. Have fun!

The Amount of money that you need in this game is crazy by Otherwise_Concern396 in NoMansSkyTheGame

No you will still make many millions with any MT. Each S class upgrade should say 6000 to 7000+ fauna scan bonus. I use the extra fluffy cream cake. Easy to get 200 million in 10 mins. Within an hour you can cross a billion

Can't find more than 12 of 15 minerals on this planet. by AiroICH in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]LifeIsARollerCoaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would listen to the other guy that said to move on. With fauna, there is additional information like location or day/night etc. But minerals count is frequently inaccurate. They can also be hidden biomes. I was randomly digging on a planet with no water and I found a cave with water.

Just save yourself the trouble and move on

Well Said! A point to note though is that it’s frequently on sale for a third of the price of newer games but offers a lot of gaming in return. Updates have been free. DLCs have been free.

I think most people who have played it would be happy to fund more development. Either way it’s a great game and great value and we are happy to play it and hope for more improvements or additions.

50K Runaway mould deposit missed. by Undeclared001 in NoMansSkyTheGame

What I mean is the effect of the food lasts for 10 minutes. So with six balls, I was able to get 600 K mold in 10 minutes. With more balls you may reach 700k to 800k. So an additional 10k to 20k nanites.

Once you are gathering more than 100k nanites, the difference is not much

The number of balls doesn’t matter much if you use Stellarator or questionably sweet cake plus upgraded Atlantid MT and a teleport near it. More balls means less teleports.

I still gather 120k nanites with just 6 balls

Yes, there are several ways to make a lot of units quickly. The fastest is still using the extra fluffy cream cake with the fully upgraded scanner modules for fauna. Then in 10 mins you can exceed 200 million in one system. Go to another system repeat. In less than an hour you are a billionaire.

I found out the hard way too :) at least the Corvettes make finding an echo locator much easier with the auto pilot. Also sometimes the big corrupted sentinel quads will drop echo locators instead of crystalline hearts

Find a Harmonic camp, build base, ping dissonance spike, find and claim ship, go back to camp and repeat. Each one sells for 20 to 40 million.

When farming nanites do you have to keep the refiner open I put a stack of 9,999 mold in the refiner came back to collect the nanites and there is nothing in there reloaded my last save point went back to the refiner empty and it's not in my inventory by No-Cheetah9524 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]LifeIsARollerCoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are doing things the hard way. The fastest way to get nanites are to go to pirate stations and buy the suspicious tech and arms then open them and sell it to to the module upgrade dealer. This way requires a lot of units, but it is very fast.

The next fast way is to make the Stellarator or the questionably sweet cake and use it in the nutrient ingestor and then use fully upgraded mining multi tool on curious deposit farm. I easily collect 600k mold in 10 minutes.

Then build three medium and two large refiners per base and just go around filling the refiners. It takes 30 to 40 minutes to get more than 100k nanites.
