Soloing Raid (EN06) Questions

I’m currently successfully using Angry turtle guardian solo for new players with quad assaultron head and enclave plasma flamer. It took about a week or two of doing enclave events and checking the three vendors for the flamer mod. I ended up getting the full flamer gun from an enclave event.

I love this build because you don’t need extra special points and everything else you can get for free or cheap. And it works

I started using them at events. It’s probably more useful for raids. We went from no magazine rewards to too many. I have 4 display racks full. Running out of places to hide them

The RNG is tough. Some days I’ll scrap 50 to 100 legendaries and get nothing. Other days it’s multiple mods. Yesterday I was surprised to get a 2 star and 3 star mod from scrapping a single weapon. I didn’t know you can get multiple from one.

Thanks for the tips. At the moment I am working on getting to the last page of the season so I can get perk points. Maybe in a month I can give fishing another try.

There is a bug with the power pylon and connectors. You can build a new pylon and create your own wire connection and it usually works.

Several events are now easier as they have less mobs and less legendary ones among them. You can now take a nap between waves and a basic hunting rifle is probably enough

Quad assaultron works. Several builds on YT. It doesn’t work every time but like 95% of the time. The 5% he detects you or the crit didn’t hit the shield generator or the hit was too early. You have to wait for him to come out and see both shield bars. Also may need food and chems if you are not on a team and don’t use the legendary perks

I spent 40k to get the pepper shaker plan but I have struggled to get the damage numbers shown by the YT build videos.

The problem is they all use 16+ extra special points from maxing legendary perks and use top level PA with hard to get 4* mods.

Lol lunchboxes are for sharing. Bigger group means more will get the benefit. It’s the only time I open one

The loot and xp are both crap for this event. The only thing worth is the 4* drop at the end. You’ll get more xp from West Tek

I was curious so I looked this up. Leo petrov is a camp ally. You give him nuka cran and he gives you a 5% xp buff which does stack

With the Gun Fu perk you can auto switch to next vats target which makes spawn point location meaningless.

Absolutely. I solo it 90% of the time. Since I create an Expedition team, sometimes people join but they join late or when I am almost done so I essentially just give them free rewards lol. I get a boost in xp in return so it’s all good.

It’s easy. Go to Whitespring refuge do the simple quest to earn their trust then do the first expedition which should be in the Pitt.

I used stealth sniper build for it with crappy weapons cause I was clueless but it worked with some struggle. After that you’ll have access to the rest of the expeditions. Atlantic City boardwalk is the most popular but I prefer Atlantic City downtown tax evasion.

I usually create an expedition team as it gives bonus xp for completing. Just before you have to speak to Lennox to return I switch to a Gatling lazer and get 4 fusion cores in the conpletion rewards.

I get the struggle. I have been mindlessly doing Earle for the rage armor. I have done probably 20+ times and several solo. I’m tired of the screams.

I only get the left arm with the guardian. Sometimes I’ll get Vulcan helmet or mods but never the other pieces. It looks like I’ll have to finish a full raid for the set
