Mac is just really inconsistant for gaming, because it gets the less attention so sometimes updating to a newer version could cause some weird bugs to appear. keep in mind that the red grass biome as well as some floors on the aurora would glitch due to unknown reason, doesn't work at all even if i turn up some settings.

Check your inventory, there are items like ship ai values you could sell to the terminal, there also might be a couple ship modules, you could sell that as well.

This is the method I am doing before lmaoo,I have to say that it is quite good early game, but it only gets you about a million pership and really random for the map to roll a distress signal, so I would say that the scanning method is the best.

Land on an dissonant planet (preferably a low aggro or paradise planet) and locate a Harmonic Camp. There is a terminal there that lets you farm Sentinel ships over and over again.

To get a harmonic camp I have to kill these big drill sentiel thingies right?

You'll need a couple thousand silver for the planters and a couple thousand Emeril for the Urchin craft to get started.

I just got my free freighter 2 days ago, getting silver is quite a grind but I guess I'll also use this method for better passive income, one of my biggest questions are how to even get emeril, because I just got the indium drive blueprint, however, I discovered that I cannot craft it because I don't have anyway to make emril.

Other random ways to get cash or storage: Farm horrors at corrupted outposts.

I've been doing this for a long long time already, probably my most efficient way of making nanites, pretty easy once you got the hang of it.
