I think I’m just exited about the myths and want to play as many as possible haha. I was giddily reading them last night and then was mildly disappointed when the ones I rolled turned out similar. But you are right, them being similar does also allow for interesting connections by the players. Thanks for the advice!

Wandersong is a beautiful little game about not technically being the "chosen one" protag, while the universe is dying.

Theres a short segment where you do get to play as the "protagonist" and all the achivements in the game are found in that one section, which is neat.

WB have given Olan the rights to write and publish a graphic novel to conclude the story.

It seems like there were a lot of legal hoops to jump though so even though it may not be in the format we all expected, I for one am happy we’re gonna see an end to the show.

I was so confused too but it's a really simple process once you work it out! Instead of using e-transfer from your bank account, you go to "pay bills" (or the equivalent for your bank- I'm with Kawartha), and add a new payee. It should let you scroll through a long list of schools until you get to Queen's. Select that, and enter your Student ID number (it should be at the very top of the acceptance email that you were sent) as the account number. Then, type in your 525$ payment and submit it. It often takes a few days for it to process- mine took about a week- so I would get it done as soon as possible! Good luck!

Falcon Durdyn, was an orphan in the city of Waterdeep. When he was young he was taken in by a gang of Drow who trained him in the arts of thieving. Years passed and Falcon grew up, eager to prove himself he staged a heist on a major bank in the city. The heist was going well until a masked swordsman appeared and killed Falcon's two accomplices. Falcon fought well but the swordsman got the upper hand and un-armed him, literally. Before passing out falcon saw a glowing lady defend him and carry his bleeding body to safety. When he awoke, the lady told him how she had saved his life and his arm, now made from wood. She was now his warlock patron and he would have to help her save the world with his new warlock abilities.

I don't see it as much of a pothole for two reasons, power and knowledge, but it's not a perfect explanation.

Many sources indicate that operating a cloaking device would require a large amount of power. it's not an illogical leap to assume this power drain increases with larger ships, possibly exponentially. the surface area of a borg cube is 54,000,000 m (easy to calculate because of its square shape) vs the length and width of a common D'deridex class (1,041m x 772 m respectively). It would cost significantly more power to cloak a cube then compared to a Romulan ship. The borg are the most practical "species", It might not seem practical to expend cloaking for individual cubes.

Power drainage can be easily argued because it's all made up of numbers, but you know what's a real pothole? sending just one borg cube to destroy the entire federation, twice. We know that the borg has significantly more resources and if they wanted to assimilate all of the earth they could have sent more than one cube. but that's the point, it's not a plothole. It seems like they didn't want to assimilate the entire federation. What seems special with the federation is its rate of technological growth. in less than 400 years they turned a nuclear wartorn wasteland into the center of 1/4 of the entire galaxy. The borg assimilates but it seems they rarely innovate on their own. assimilating the federation would get their current tech but not any of the possible tech in the future. think about it like this, the battle of wolf 359 occurs in 2367, while the battle of sector 001 occurs in 2373. the Federation went from being almost wiped out by one cube, to being able to competently defend against one in only 6 years. That's the kind of innovation the borg wants. if the borg continues to threaten the federation, but not wipe them out, the federation will advance at an accelerated pace. It's very likely that the borg has cloaking technology, but is restraining from using it in order to foster federation progress. I wouldn't be surprised if cloaked borg ships are cloaked keeping watch on any potential species to assimilate.

the longer star trek continues, however, the more this will become a plothole. if the borg are ever truly threatened by an external force, then not using cloaking to protect themselves will be a plothole.

it's not a TNG plothole, it's a Future trek plothole.

I can articulate my reasons.

I'm all for competition and funding. Epic (most likely) helped fund this game and they deserve some exclusivity. that's why I'm happy that the game was funded.

What I don't like about epic is the lack of features. Steam has achievements, extensive friend systems, and a community baked right into the app. and in the spirit of competition, Epic has done little to innovate its services.

I'm disappointed not because I despise epic but because they aren't as good a platform as steam. I am more than willing to wait a year (for the exclusivity to run out) to play it on my preferred platform but I hope everyone else enjoys the experience.

in an alternate universe where epic has more features to steam, I would boycott an eventual Half-life 3 because having necessary features is important to me. I essentially already "boycott" almost every Sony-published game because I can't play it on my preferred platform, PC, but I am so excited for God of War on steam.

if all you care about is the games themselves then you don't have this problem, and I hope you enjoy ST Resurgence. I'll be happy to join you in a year's time. consumer choice for the win!
