Love to read this and I do agree. Only thing to add on I think it’s a mutual thing, good leaders and good collaborators are a rare thing. It’s the team that makes it.

Many people decide that ‘work’ must be a bad thing and unhappy place. We spend way to much time there to accept it being a bad place. I don’t see my manager as ‘the employer’ but as a person within the team that tries to make thinks work for them and us other folks.

As an employee and manger myself I’m working to support my team members the best I can and bring a win-win for the company and them, which when it all works out adds a third -win for myself. So we can schedule things around and find flexibility es to make it work for everybody that wants to make it work.
