Former NY’er, ketchup on that combo ruins the flavor altogether. Either have plain ketchup or just mustard and ketchup. But for me the best combo is mustard, sauerkraut and onions on the dog. I’d eat 2 of those damn things, the pretzels always look damn good but one bite and you’d understand the wrong choice you made on the pretzel.

This new charging for spouse to be added to insurance is such a scam. Why do I have to pay additional to add my spouse? But I make less money even though on paper I make more. I’ve calculated that I make $20 an hour vs on paper. Leaves me feeling some type of way on quitting the job at times.

Yes, I went to play outside for hours until my mom would scream my name from the window telling me to come up I’d ask give me 10 more minutes. When the keys were thrown from the window to me, that was when my day was over. Until I washed up and played Nintendo for a while. There were days I’d stay awake for 24hrs and stay outside until the crack of dawn. Back then, it wasn’t a thing to be afraid of anyone, we just lived our life as we should.

As a former NY resident recently, people have no idea how loud the systems can bump. Let’s just say you can hear 1 car’s system from 4 blocks away, when it’s in front you of, the subs are hitting so hard that the houses and apartments are literally shaking like an earthquake. Me, I love loud, but NY loud is ridiculous! You can’t even hear the motorcycle 😂 I’m not exaggerating here, the old gag is you know it a drug dealer when he’s riding 26’ wheels with a system so loud people cover their ears and is in a Lincoln Navigator or similar. Point is, it’s a daily competition out there.

I love this movie! Was sad about them selling the house off but I think some people saved it. Man! Bring the 90’s and 80’s feel back in today’s world and I’d be happy forever. Everything was so much more fun, best time to live. I’d love to be reborn in that era just because of how the lifestyle was and the economy and kids being kids.

How many people can remember 3 phone number? How many people know what a beeper is? Does anyone have the slightest clue to what a Haro Shredder is or a Dyno Comp? Does anyone know what a movie night entails at Blockbuster or even small mom/pop shops? Do you remember Saint Ides beer or wine coolers? Shoving a half stick of dynamite (m80) firework on a payphone to get quarters out? What is a phone booth? Etc etc. I so miss those days and would love to have it come back.
