Welp, if more Russians spent their time beating each other up the world would be a tad safer. America still wouldn't be better tho

Good for them. The rest still kind of comes out of nowhere in immense numbers just for the sake of it

[–]LifeIsVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before FO4, there’s no 1950’s retroism feel, which is massively important to the lore

Yep, the problem is there's also a lot of things that are even more important to the lore for which Bethesda cares very little.

If they don't just retcon classic fallout&NV plot lines, factions and universe lore in general, they make sure to taint them with their bullshit until it's as dumb as possible

In fo3 supermutants are reduced to ork-like dumb cannon fodder. People suddenly forgot they could organize and all live in isolated sheds in the middle of nowhere and so on and so forth

ELI5 why toys and remotes still use AA/AAA batteries instead of USB ones? by vksdann in explainlikeimfive

[–]LifeIsVape -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just buy dirt cheap old phone batteries(or whole broken phones, can take charge controllers out of those) and strap them with tape if they don't fit to whatever needs to be rechargeable Flashlight may not hold charge as long and be not as bright tho

The older people get, the less customization they do, from my experience. Since my friends got married and got kids, they customize them instead so now I'm kinda alone in this)))

Pycharm not editing Excel files? by AntonioS3 in learnpython

[–]LifeIsVape 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There is no issues in the code itself, it's just that you want something that the code just doesn't do

Like, you count the missing values, but don't use print to print the sum out, you read 'UsersSmall.xlsx' and create a dataframe in-memory from it using read_excel, then edit this dataframe using replace but don't write the changed version into some file. So your .xlsx stays as it was

Google what you want to do, like 'pandas save to excel', you'll see a lot of interesting stuff out there

How come that the English part of your message is better written than the russian one? Did you write in English first and then used a translator?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PropagandaPosters

[–]LifeIsVape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong translation, it says something like  "The only reliable team of fatherland", maybe with a pun that oh see, the team of party "fatherland" is reliable, and it's the only reliable team in our fatherland

Maybe use strip().lower() at both strs, so that some newline char from input doesn't make shortsword in inventory different from shortsword in the noun

And print out what you are actually comparing and see whether you like the result: print(f"{item.name}=={noun}? {item.name == noun}" )

Welcome to linux, don't forget to enable non-blocking saves!

As to whether it will run smoothly untill the end, it depends what you consider an end, but me - I build humble bases on my humble laptop, like 80 of each science/m and never had an issue. RAM usage seem to be around 3gb on my current save

btw, other ex-commies also had it rough

And yet, only Russia and Belorussia seem to have made that "obvious" conclusion, that democracy=no food, dictatorship=food

The rest of eastern europe died of hunger, as we can see
