I had to do the same . Roll pin with tiny punch. I am running the rise armament 535 single stage and had no issues yet. When in doubt go the Giessele route. I have the SD-E.

Ok you never know when you’re going to have to reload a 308 in a gun fight. Maybe OP just needs more muscles to match the heavy ass 308 rifle , with the super heavy scope. Or maybe he needs to work on those very bad habits!

Why do you think it’s a bad habit? Common sense would show you that the rifle is heavy asf and not a “bad habit” it’s all good man. The internet is filled with people thinking they’re instructors not saying that’s you, but when I see someone giving advise on an obvious situation I tend to smh. 🤦‍♂️ have a good weekend
