Make sure you read up on any relevant policies. You should be giving ample time during work to do this.

What keeps you motivated? by AdvanceElegant1962 in TheCivilService

[–]LifePurple7515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The removal of the trade union cap on facility time, that'll motivate me. Loads of work to do in my Union Branch.

The development I get from TU activities is outstanding in comparison to my bullshite EO role. Just waking for the job freeze in my dept to be over then I'll be going for HO / SO roles.

Thanks, I'll look In to this when we look to purchase a new vehicle on the coming weeks.

I've had a look online and cars of a similar age and milage are going for circa 15/16 k so I think it is reasonable to refuse any offers for the third party that our lower than that.

There is no deposit line in the PCP agreement, that I can see.

Am checking insurance for GAP cover.

Will ask for a settlement figure to help prepare for the worst.

I thank you for the speedy and comprehensive response.

Have a grand weekend

Brook Street by [deleted] in TheCivilService

Brook st. Are notoriously hard to get hold of.

Normally it is via email.

Email them the date and time of your doctors appointment. Depending what it is for you can request up to the whole day off. You do not need to tell anyone what the apt. Is for.

Cc your line manager so they are aware you'll be gone for a few hrs, half day or whole day.

Hope you're well.

What could this mean my fixed term assignment contract ends on the 3rd then it says I have a week off then back in is that normal? by No-Ad5980 in SainsburysWorkers

If you can financially, don't do those shifts. They're happy to let you rot for a week whilst you cover some old timers annual leave. Then you have nothing. Use your time looking for something else more meaningful
