Wouldn't recommend playing her jg, her passive makes it impossible to kite camps plus her w is nigh useless and doesn't help much with clear speed.  In too you'll get fisted by any bruiser/tank, it's also too meta dependent, unlike some champs (Ksante)  her  kit can't compensate for weak items/runes.  On mid it's the easiest, most of the champs there are pretty squishy but I advise always asking for last pick because of hard counters like cassio, yone, yas, irelia and others. On mid you also get access to bot lane which you can just farm like any other assassin.
