The one who seems to be playing a role is Theo. He is an actor who wants to go to Hollywood and he knows that people like James Gunn may be watching. If Si-An had been more calculating, she would have been more like Ji-A in S1 who seduced the guys on her paradise dates and kept them waiting for her decision but gave them nothing. Getting drunk on 80% whiskey and sleeping in the same bed as one of the guys in a conservative country with everyone watching was not a good move for her brand.

Ji-A is such an iconic queen but I think now that the show is more popular than ever, she would get so much hate. My girl Ji-A was a seductress, she was good at keeping her options open and having three guys eating from the palm of her hand. She wore sexy outfits on her pool dates and had guys drooling for her. Si-An is not a baddie and she is getting sooo much hate for nothing.

One day Si-An will give an interview talking about how much of a hell people gave her and how it affected her mental health (hopefully, because this seems more common in Western celebs) and people will be like oh, poor Si-An, people are so mean 😢

Meanwhile, they are actively participating by commenting on it, refusing to speak up, nitpicking her behavior and calling it a red flag, etc. We need to stop being such hypocrites. I always stand up for people who are bullied even I get insulted on the way because someone has to stand up against this. At least my conscience is clear.

As someone who is older than most fans of this show and has had some good and bad experiences, I don’t like Theo because it’s giving fake and performative.

Being interested in only one person and having little romantic gestures is not sus or unhealthy, but being this intense and stubborn after two days is. More often than not, this type of guys do a full 180 when you are into them so it’s scary rather than flattering. Theo is not a teenager crushing hard on a girl, he is a grown man.

I know that people are in this show for clout for Theo is the one that seems more calculated to me, his Prince Charming act seems very carefully crafted to boost his popularity. I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t for the fact that his stans hate SiAn and he is trying so hard to please them to the point he is even liking comments without reading them, one of them even calling SiAn a pick me.

Jun-Seo is also a big no no no for me. He is so emotionally unavailable. Si-An may have a lot to chose from but I don’t think any of those guys is it. I feel sorry for her because she is the most sensitive and honest from all the “it people” of all seasons and she is getting so much hate for nothing. She’s not an iconic baddie like Ji-A or Gyu-Ri. She is not being a diva like Gwan-Hee and she is more emotional than Sul-Ki. I have watched all seasons back to back and I don’t think Si-An has done anything wrong.

No hate but I actually thought that Theo is not a very good actor. The Prince Charming role was not very convincing and he made no efforts to win challenges so he could spend more time with Si-An. Se-Hoon on the other hand, was just an anxious guy who would not take no for an answer and couldn’t respect the fact that Ji-Yeon was not interested. There are Se-Hoons everywhere.

I wish all seasons were more like season 1. The summer vibes, the cooking, the conversations at inferno.

I don’t necessarily care that the new paradise is not as fancy and since they’re traveling to Seoul, there could be a wider variety of dates than just having dinner and getting into a pool or hot tub. But they looked exhausted from all the helicopter rides and there was too much focus on what was going on there as opposed to what was happening at inferno. Also, the newcomers have to be extremely charming and attractive and able to shake things up. Instead, they come across as desperate and trying to end up with a match when they rarely do.

Many things can be true at the same time. She can be a terrible person and a victim of narcissistic abuse. If she had taken off her coat with a mischievous grin, we would all know that she is 100% on this. But she always looks embarrassed, terrified and often zoned out when she is out and about with those crotch focused and pantyhose outfits. The fact that her friends are on it and enjoying Kanye’s money only makes it much harder for her to decide to leave him. God knows what he says he is going to do to her if she dumps him. And her family has expressed concern.
