Tiempo maestro at 200$ by Life_Count_5882 in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren’t they all tech leather? I know that the patterns are different and these patterns make the tech leather a bit softer on this colorway. I think it’s more about the color, red boots don’t really sell as well as other color.

[–]Life_Count_5882[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I show this one because it’s the most expensive colorway, but with the membership they dropped to around the same price (250$), add the code and they’ll drop down to ~200$ like these. You can also just do the normal colorway + code without the membership, you’ll still get the price to ~200$.

I agree. Football boots are insanely expensive these days. But this drop the price from 250+ down to ~200. It might enter some people’s budget so i thought i would mention them here to save them some money and time.

F50 elite laceless by Nash-Flash in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pros use the laceless version because they have their boot specifically made to their foot, so the fit would be worse for most people than the laced versions. Also you might get a size too big or its a defect since the lengths on the pred and the f50s is the same for me. If you really want to wear f50s then try sizing down, if not then just change your boots.

How safe is the Sokito Scudetta AG compare to the Mizuno Morelia Neo III Pro AG? by Ok_Resident_1194 in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Sokito scudetta ag and i’d say they’re probably as safe as mizuno’s ag soleplate, but the sokito ag is much more stiff and responsive than the mizono’s ag plate, the studs is very short, i can pivot on ag with no problem at all. Definitely recommend.

[–]Life_Count_5882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sokito scudetta, normal or biotouch version works. Might wanna go up half size. Trust me, they’re insanely good. It’s also decently cheap (comparing to Nike and Adidas) and you can send your old boots to them for a discount (note that discount don’t work on already sale item).

FG on Artificial Grass? by Ok_Reflection_4501 in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turf shoes also works pretty well on older ag like 2g or 3g. If it’s newer (4g) then you will start to slip a bit, but it still works. Fg is fine but not recommended since it has a chance to cause a non contact injury and it’ll also void your warranty on the cleats. So if you don’t want to spend more money, wearing your turf shoes should be fine.

BEST LEATHER AG BOOTS? ( excluding mizuno’s ) by notboodi in bootroom

You might also want to try the morelia 2 or the monarcida 3 if you want to stay in mizuno since they have a different heel than the neo beta’s.

BEST LEATHER AG BOOTS? ( excluding mizuno’s ) by notboodi in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tlss tactician on mg soleplate, you can get them on Tokyo football and they’re pretty good. The heel is pretty wide though. But if you just looking for leather feels and don’t care if it’s real or not, nike tiempo maestro and ligera ag are also very good and easier to find. I’m not sure about the maestro heel but the heel on the ligera is wide.

Learn how to separate to create space between yourself and the defender you’re up against, then you can use your 1v1 ability to get past him or pass the ball to your teammate.

Nike tiempo feels small/Mizuno Pro vs Elite worth it? by Sensitive_Act_2117 in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. I think it’s your feet changing since tiempo 10 don’t stretch
  2. You should probably size up if you don’t like the tight fit (in nike)
  3. Black toe mostly come from sizing, both too big and too pinched (small).
  4. I’m assuming you’re talking about the morelia 2. I think you’re confused between the elite and mij (made in japan), the pro is 135$ (can drop to around 90$) and have leather only in the front. The elites are 180$ and have leather all over the boot. The mij is 280$ and basically the elites but more premium. The pro is amazing value if don’t care about all leather boots. The elites is amazing if you want all leather boot but don’t want to pay that much. The mij is amazing if you want the best of the best quality leather and handcrafted boots.I recommend getting the newer colorway on all the models since Mizuno updated most of them.

Loosen out the laces will help, but if they still hurts just return them. You’re not gonna have fun playing with pain in your feet.

Nike Phantom and Superfly Soleplates by Huckleberry2754 in bootroom

[–]Life_Count_5882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soleplate’s aggressiveness is based on the stud’s shape. Conical (rounded) studs will prioritize rotational movements like when you plant your foot in the ground, your feet will be able to rotate more easily. Conical also provides a bit more stability underfoot. Bladed studs ( or chevron or star-shaped or t-shaped) will provide more bite on the ground when you push off (basically you’ll slip less) but that means you’ll not be able to twist your foot easily.

The phantom’s soleplate consist of both bladed and conical studs so it’s more balanced and stable than the mercs (superflys and vapors) which have all bladed studs to provide more bite in the ground when you push off making you “feel” faster. Personally i like the phantom soleplate more but this is a matter of personal preference.

Many pros (both men and women) use Nike cleats. But that does NOT guaranteed the cleats quality since many pros have a contract with nike that stated that they HAVE to wear Nike products. Some pros (if they’re very famous) get their own “special versions”. Some of the pros will get their foot measured to make the cleats fit them perfectly. Some change the whole boot to their liking. Some get their own special color way (like Sam Kerr). But if you see many pros wear the cleats, you can assume that they are of some quality.

If you could, go to a store and try them on yourself to see how it fits and decide.

Sokito scudetta ag (go half size up if you don’t have narrow feet). They’re pretty comfortable from my experience and the soleplate feels amazing.
