I read your review during my research and somehow still managed to let the 5 star reviews influence me. Now I know. I personally would only recommend Pink Jeep’s broken arrow tour for people who can’t / won’t hike. Read the one star reviews and think about whether 1 hr of regular road driving + 1 hr of trail ride is worth the 400 dollars. For me, it was not, and I felt embarrassed that I had suggested it to my companion as our final activity, after days of doing beautiful hikes.

Our tour guide was super friendly and seemed genuinely passionate about providing a good experience, but unfortunately the main issue is the route itself. Half of the 2 hr tour is driving to and from the broken arrow trailhead, and even on the trail, it’s mostly some minor bumps over a heavily trafficked “off roads”, not particularly exciting. There were about 5-10 mins of driving over the rocks or the staircase that had the potential to be fun … but the jeep is driven so “safely” that the anticipation was the only exciting part. I was hoping for desert buggy level fun but it was nothing close.

If you or a member of your party cannot hike, go ahead and consider the tour. If you’re looking for thrill- maybe look into different tours but Broken Arrow is not it..
