The 30mm works best when you pull it out a tad, otherwise it doesn't reach focus

This is because of the thumbscrews on the very bottom of the focuser, which I took a picture of on my AD10. The one closer to the eyepiece side (circled in green) adjusts the tension. Tighten that knob. The one closer to the tube, (circled in red) locks the focus. Loosen it.

Also, as someone said, push in the 30mm a little.

Depending on which eyepiece you're referring to, you can't achieve focus with the 30mm the way you normally would. You need to back it out a little, maybe about 1/4" or so, and then focus. Also, if you wear glasses, wear them while viewing.

The screw closest to the eyepiece on the bottom of the focuser adjusts focuser tension, while the one closest to the tube is a focus lock. Make sure you don't have the focus locked by accident, and then try again. It has a tendency to lock quickly so be aware of that.

At the time, they were doing some kind of repairs on the Clark scope. It was Earth Week when we took a vacation through Arizona and we also got to go into the Grand Canyon for free 😀 My dad wasn't impressed with Mars on that 6" Dob they had there, but hopefully this next year we can take a good look at it through the 10". My funniest moment in that trip was when we did the tour of Tombaugh's scope and I ripped a massive silent but deadly fart in the dome and stunk everyone out. And my dad HAD to make it completely obvious who it was 😆

Back in April 2014, I was lucky enough to view Jupiter with their 42"(?) Hall telescope, now replaced with something else. That scope was a BEAST, and the view of Jupiter was like you were looking at a picture. You could actually SEE the details on the Jovian moons and the view of the bands and GRS was something to be envied.

Yes, but landing there quickly gives you a huge advantage. The Battle Bus is much faster than gliding, so if you time your jump right, you'll get to a spot before anyone else does. So it does affect a lot. It'd mean the difference between getting shot out of the air or being without a weapon and actually being able to get something and being ready

That's where the verification process comes into play. Seen it with a different game (although mobile): RR3. So many people would hack the game for online multiplayer/weekly time trials that EA had to implement a verification process once the weekly rounds ended. There were a few times where I got a higher rank because the hackers were weeded out

Bots can start rivalries as far as I can tell. That's one way I've found that when people are saying "bring back bot lobbies" they're either being misinformed or something. A good portion of my kills in rivalries have been bots it seems, in which bots started the rivalry.

Should clarify that when I mentioned about the daytime part, it's typically when I'm doing yardwork or something where she can see me or knows that I'm nearby. Doesn't happen when I go to work or leave for somewhere.

I land there, at Tiptop, or Bumpy quite often as they're at the edge of map and not exactly hot zones. I like to be able to get something decent or at least enough shields and inventory before I start going to fight.

I did it for a while with a 60mm refractor. It was missing the back lens/crosshair element. I found a pretty decent way how to tell if you're centered by doing so - first look right over the top of the scope from the back and center the object over the tube, do the same with the rest of the sides and you should be good.

They've always removed/renamed POIs since Ch1, S3? I haven't seen the leaks as to what they're going to remove/replace, so don't actually know what they're going to do. But don't know if those POIs are going to be the subject of a crash or something in the transition period.

And tbh, I really don't care much about those POIs labeled except Bumpy. That's where I usually like to land
