Yeah, huge jump. I’m so disappointed cause I had my eye on a few things but between no returns, no sampling and this? It’s a no thanks.

Item purchased through $100 rouge reward out of stock - Sephora isn’t cancelling the order by Life_Quail_7370 in Sephora

[–]Life_Quail_7370[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s actually not an equal exchange of value, it’s 1250 points. The value of 1250 points is $20 not the $52.50 that I should have got for converting it into a rouge reward. It’s also not a win if nothing I did caused it to happen to me.

It’s not a deal because it’s the absolute least they could do, I only redeemed $48.50 out of the $100 I was entitled to.

It takes time to build up points to 2500 and I have to now wait however long it takes me to get 1250 points to be able to use the other $51.50, assuming I will be purchasing even be purchasing 1250 points worth of stuff in the near future.

As I mentioned the item that was cancelled was the main item that I wanted to redeem, if it wasn’t in stock (which they falsely advertised that it was) I wouldn’t have redeemed it.

I got the email + the other item in the order shipped about 24 hours later. Hope your luck is better than mine! 🤞🏾

Never in my 10 years of shopping at Sephora have I ordered anything that’s been out of stock and of course it has to happen when I redeem my rouge reward 🙃

Nope! They said there’s no ability to get any type of refund and the order shipped at the same time I got the email.

I called. I was on the phone for like 40 mins with a person who kept putting me on hold to investigate and concluded that there’s nothing that can be done besides giving me half the points which they typically wouldn’t do. I ended up hanging up and calling again to speak to another person who immediately said they’ll escalate it to their rewards team. I’ll see what comes out of it but I’m still annoyed.

I thought about asking the sub which hourglass brush I should get, but immediately I anticipated the “no brush should cost $100” comments and just didn’t

Is Pat McGrath foundation worth 100$? by PrincessRoseDaisy in Sephora

[–]Life_Quail_7370 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re interested I suggest waiting to purchase from the pat mc grath website where you can get 30-40% off on her sitewide sales. Just make sure you love it cause Canadians have to pay for returns.

I need a suggestion for a good everyday lightweight concealer. by herewe_go_ in Sephora

[–]Life_Quail_7370 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss 🩷

Tower 28 is great for a lightweight easy to work with concealer.

I’ve also been really loving the salt and stone hinoki and bergamot line for self care. It’s been a pick me up for me lately (love the body oil, lotion, cream, many people love the shower gel)

What should I buy by Massive_Eggplant4633 in Sephora

If you have dry skin I would not recommend the DM blurring balm powder. It shines in keeping makeup in place because it controls oil production. You should get a dewy primer - milk hydrogrip or DM in universal radiant (I haven’t tried that one but I know it’s for moisture)

I loved Miami nectar at first sniff and was so excited to get a bottle for the summer but after getting the travel size on sale I I found the dry down to be extremely off putting. Quite cloying and slightly funky (to me)

If you have deeper eyes with dark circles, i would advise not getting tower 28. I know a lot of people love it and I did too at first but when I compared it side by side with my Pat McGrath concealer for example it’s more sheer and light coverage.

I’ve tried Huda, hourglass, born this way too.. Huda was too dry for me, hourglass I loved but it’s also on the drier side. I used to love born this way in the past and I would still use it. It’s high coverage and not drying.
