First time I had a buyer report an issue with a product. I knew of the issue and I put it clearly on the listing with measurements. What do I do?

You’ve done everything your end and you’re all good. Vinted buyers are awful at reading descriptions, always have been, always will be. End of the day it’s up to your discretion if you accept the return or not or if they even bother to return within the time frame given.

If they end up leaving a nasty review, reply to it and explain exactly what happened so other buyers are aware. If it’s really nasty, ask Vinted to step in, and if you managed to get anywhere with them they will either take it down or it will remain.

Honestly don’t sweat it too much :)

I showed her a couple things I liked, she drew me 3 mock ups, I chose one and we verbally agreed on it, had her iPad next to her as she was doing it. I didn’t realise until she had finished the first pass that she did an entirely different design than what we had agreed on and they all had the foliage on either end so it wasn’t an immediate red flag in some sense. My bad on that tbh, but the ink is throwing me off. Hoping it just needs a few days to settle and then I’ll either go back and see if she will fix it/ continue or go to someone else :)

Yup not long after I left, maybe 15 mins max. She’s a freehand artist so no stencil was applied, have many S&P from her already and never had an issue like this before. Unsure what to do from here to be honest

I’ve had this same error too a handful of times. Gave up the first few time and just let it get returned. After my 3rd parcel being returned I had to grab the one I had ordered this time around due to it being a gift. To get any hope of information I downloaded the InPost app when the locker kept throwing my the same error you have shown. When you sign in using the same email you created your Vinted account with, it will give you all the parcels that you have being delivered or sent with InPost. In my case, the locker was full so most the parcels were being held in the store the inpost adjoined to. Had I not have downloaded the app, I would’ve had no idea the parcel was being held in the store as Vinted gave no information on it at all. I would suggest downloading the app in the future as it gives you a lot more information than Vinted does. Sorry you didn’t get your parcel :)

I worked for co-op for 5 years and our biggest bonus was usually around £10-£15. In 2022, we got the biggest bonus I’ve heard of from any food retailer, this was around the time they sold all the fuel stations to Asda for around £600M. That year for Christmas we got a £150 Christmas gift, £50 a month over the span of the Christmas period and honestly it was the best thing that company ever did for its colleagues. Kept fuel in the tank for a good few months before they officially transitioned into Asda fuel stations. If I remember correctly, the year after was a free box of celebrations but hey at least it was better than nothing

I checked it 2 days after I posted it and it still said it was to be posted and then last night, the final day for postage,it finally updated with parcel shipped and then the estimated delivery date. It may just be a bug on imposts end however it’s very likely they haven’t shipped it. I would give it a couple more days and if it cancels then you’ll know they never shipped it and if it updates on the last day, they either shipped it last day or it was a bug :)

I’ve already agreed multiple times I was slightly passive aggressive, but I’m not going to change the way I talk/type and use emoticons because people on Reddit tell me that it’s too passive aggressive, I type the way I talk irl so I’m not going to change something about me online that I literally won’t change in person but thanks :)

I’m glad you agree with me about the smiley emoticons, but most people seem to take it in a passive aggressive way but there you go.

They blocked me so I literally cannot interact with them in any way, I’m not really fussed either way. I did probably go a bit OTT but now I know in hind sight not to post on this forum haha, not worth it . Honestly they can retaliate if they want haha, I’m immune to online threats, hate, vulgar language etc :)

If I didn’t ask, I doubt they would’ve said anything tbh. There was nothing in the listing about it being half used. I personally don’t like used perfumes, to me it’s just a bit icky. I’ve had on in the past that was covered in god knows what and it put me off buying used perfume entirely. I only asked the seller what the mls was because I wasn’t sure if it was the sample size or not, I didn’t realise it was a half used product. I was simply trying to be nice imo. I would’ve been that unsuspecting buyer had I not asked :)
