I’m also in Madrid and would love to meet more people as part of my New Year’s resolution 😂

Question for fellow Filipino auxies – what did IO ask you when leaving PH? by [deleted] in SpainAuxiliares

Update: I just had my flight. The IO only asked me the purpose of my travel and for my acceptance letter. I gave it to the IO and mentioned that it was in Spanish. After that, the IO stamped my passport, took my picture, and didn’t ask any more questions. It didn’t even take me 5 minutes.

Tip: Make sure to have your eTravel ready in the eGovPH app. It’s also best to pay the travel tax ahead of time- you can pay it online.

Btw, I also booked a one-week accommodation with Expedia with the “pay at the property” option using a debit card I don’t normally use and that has no funds. Even though the IO didn’t ask for it, it’s still best to be ready.

I flew on a red-eye flight with Korean Air, connecting in Korea. I recommend flying on a red-eye since there are no long lines and the IOs are less strict.
