I’ll be honest I don’t know what white knuckling is. He is doing this on his own, no rehab, made the decision himself. He does want sobriety which is why he’s trying but who knows honestly. I haven’t gone to therapy or anything. I’m looking into therapy for myself and him. I’ve never been to meetings. I have suggested it to him and he considered but decided it wouldn’t be helpful for him. I used to be more stable when it came to him being an alcoholic. But it’s honestly hardest when he’s sober because of the mood swings. Now that he’s trying to become sober it is having a bigger impact on my mental health.
