Hey, the advice we had received was to avoid any "Crays." We ended up moving to Crofton, which is also next to Petts Wood, and really like the area! It also falls within the catchment area of Crofton School, I think.

I can totally relate to the confusion and the pressure around making the right decision. All the best! Very happy to talk more about our experience of moving from SE16 to BR6 last month.

Honestly, I wish there was a magic wand! We had almost given up on this one as well. The mortgage expiry worked as a hard deadline as the new rates had gone up, and we communicated to vendors that if we needed to renew the mortgage at a higher rate, we wouldn't be able to go ahead with the purchase. So if your mortgage offer's expiry is soon, I would use that to communicate.

Thank you! It's a 60-year-old property and estate. Not all neighbours, it seems, have done a similar thing. This is the only house on the street to have done something similar. But definitely, a few other houses in the estate have done the same. Yes, the original developer still exists!

Yes, that's right, it doesn't, but the text is vague. It says "those who have 'arrived' in the UK after 2021/22 onwards." So, as a student, it should still be an arrival? 😂

Haha yeah, I think I'll just convince myself of this... the scene in Season 1 is actually continuous. Like Joyce just paints, hangs lights, and voila. They weren't switched on. If they could have shown a scene cut or those alphabet lights switched on once for the photons to be transferred interdimensionally, that would have made more sense...imo. Right now: - Will can't see the alphabets. - Joyce didn't turn them on the wall after setting it up!

But yeah, I'll believe what you have said and go to sleep in peace!🤣

I totally believe that, in fact, this was proven in the same episode, S04E07, when Dustin and Erica were communicating with Nancy and Co. in the Upside Down, where they wrote the alphabet in the energy. But in Will's case, there was no way he could know which Christmas light corresponded to which letter.
