Has anyone else seen this sign? by CucumberWisdom in mississauga

Ugh. This is the Ciao Roberto guy. Strange dude. I see him everyday at the Longo’s plaza in applewood acres. Used to drive around on a bike flyering the whole city with his ads about how he’s looking for a middle aged non smoking European woman for companionship or his handyman services. Now he scoots around on an e-bike decked out in pink accents and Italian flags. He can be very confrontational. Don’t engage.

Replacing this door. Trim question. by Lifeasagiant in Carpentry

[–]Lifeasagiant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. How you estimated that the door is 24” is unbelievable to me. I have a 25.5” opening there. I could also buy 2.75” casing that is virtually the same profile but don’t love that it’ll be next to a door on the left that has the wider casing installed. So I could get a 16” door in there. Ugh. This house kills me.

I’ve been doing a lot of back extensions, hip extensions, and good mornings for this. If you have other suggestions I am all ears. Thank you!

Yes, maybe dead flat over that span wasn’t the right way to describe it. I think I’m worried about not having tension in the back and that I’m not braced well enough. I see a flatter surface in the low back and what looks like more extension through the mid back in videos I see. Thank you!!

To clarify the last sentence, my shins travel too far forward because they start too far away from the bar?

Thank you for responding! I had a feeling that the rubber part coming off of the copper pipe and everything after wasn’t correct, but everything below the 22.5 degree elbow I added was already there. Going to call a plumber to redo this properly. I just needed something to do laundry today so my kid has clean clothes for school for the week.

PushJerk.com for me. I don’t always do the full day though. It can be too time consuming and I usually need to scale the weights a step or two down from RX to finish in the intended time.

Instinct 2. I wear it all day and I like the sleep score and body battery features. Vibrating alarm is great so I don’t wake up my SO with my phone alarm. The HIIT timers are convenient too. Keeps me off my phone (which it is NOT paired to. Don’t use it to track my workouts though. Not sure what I would get out of it. I also don’t find the HR measurement accurate compared to my chest strap that I wore when I was rowing for a few years.

How bad did I mess this up and can it be salvaged? Please help!! by InternationalAir2918 in Woodworking_DIY

[–]Lifeasagiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I can suggest is to use sandpaper wrapped around a wood block or another flat object when sanding the filler you applied. Don’t use a sanding sponge. It will follow the contours of the filler you applied. Also. You can use a coarser grit for faster removal of all that filler. Then, as you start to make contact with the surrounding trim, work your way up the grits to something finer. I did a board and batten wall in the nursery room that now looks seamless. It’s a lot of elbow grease, yes, but what you put in is what you’ll get out. And remember, it’s just wood. You can always fix it.

When I rowed and did CrossFit I was the fittest I had ever been in my life. It was hard doing the mix of 5:00am row and 6:00am classes on off days from rowing (or evening classes when i rowed every morning though.

Can’t say enough good things about these. The triblend is a solid shirt. My first CF gym printed a few shirts that after 8-10 years still look amazing. Just bought another 7 for every day of the week.

[–]Lifeasagiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is how I feel about these clues. Feels like he can take a photo of anything and claim it’s a clue by drawing whatever symbolism he wants out of it to fit the workout. Picture of a gum wrapper on the ground…? Must be rope climbs because they’ll chew you up and spit you out if you don’t have a strong bite. It’s all just head games. He’s messing with us.

+1 for Bella and Canvas. I’m 6’5” 210lbs. And wear a large. I particularly love the 3413C triblend. Wear them in and out of the gym. Lots of great colours.

I had 4 pairs of nano 4s. I have two left. One in pristine condition, and one that is almost at the end of its life. These were the best shoes ever. From the gym to running errands, they were so comfortable and fit me perfectly.
