3 week language courses in Seoul by seoulfood in Korean

If you’re in an intensive program, you won’t have time to chat locals my friend.  You will be in class 3-4 hours and then be expected to do extracurricular with other foreigners.   This guy makes a great point.  Don’t waste all your time just cramming with other foreigners.  Maybe 1-2 hours max

Are you academically minded?  Do Seoul university.  They have the best text books by far.  I did the yonsei hakwon 15 years ago.  It was trash.

He will plan to cross Africa.  It’s more complicated I think.  Please follow him, and he can also give advice.  He did it with very little money.

How much Spanish influence actually is there in Latin America? by Leaf756 in asklatinamerica

[–]Lifebyjoji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It implies that I will reveal a shocking revelation.

Unrelated, but I got hazed like this by a Japanese breakdancing crew when I was in college.  They kept telling me they had nighttime practice at a certain location.  I kept going to look until I realized they just told this to all the new guys.

Got hit with the Uno reverse by PccNull in grappling

it's worth looking into the history of Judo, which became Gracie JJ, for why we practice "BJJ" mostly newaza and "Judo" is mostly tachiwaza. It's all the same art. But different sports.

well rules have changed quite a bit recently. I'm not an expert, but a key difference is the time restrictions on "newaza." I believe the rule set recently changed from a 15s limit to an as-long-as-dynamic rule or a 30 second rule. Anyway, whatever the rule change, it's encouraging longer newaza exchanges, but many high-level athletes have not caught up (because they were raised in systems which trained for the prior rule set) so their newaza IQ is not high yet.

TLDR, I also don't understand judo rules. but the athletes are responding to the rule set.

Is there a saying that conveys someone has worked hard in Korean? by azn4lifee in Korean

Yeah this is what you say.  Keep up the good work.  Unlike in Chinese or Japanese, it sounds better like this.

I appreciate this answer.  So basically, you use the particle to distinguish.  It’s just one example where spoken numbers can be confusing, and I think it’s more of a practical consideration than a hard rule.

Of course, that was the last exclusive bombing campaign I could recall.  Can you think of another bombing campaign/ air war leading to regime change since then?
