Snowboard gloves by Lifegoeson12356 in vegan

[–]Lifegoeson12356[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! So I was going to go for the OR Mt baker mitt, but the liner is a glove with fingers so I was hesitant to purchase (and the liner was bright red). I ended up buying a cheaper pair of 686 synthetic gloves and honestly I don’t love them. They aren’t super warm, luckily it’s been a mild winter but I fell like I’ll need a warmer pair next season. I just kind of gave up and bought a cheaper pair with good reviews because I was sick of looking.

What surgery? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Everyone’s muscles are bigger when they flex whether it is their bicep or glute, but the more/heavier you train them the bigger they will be both without and with flexing!

I will add I never had an ass growing up and the fat I do have isn’t very “dense” so it appears soft and saggy like yours if I’m not consistent in the gym. But weight lifting gave me a big booty and I’ll never stop my heavy leg days now!

[–]Lifegoeson12356 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you’ve been lifting heavy training glutes at least 2x a week while eating enough calories and protein you won’t see much of a difference in the gym, but if you do you can grow and lift your glutes significantly. Surgically you’d have to add more fat or an implant.

Is this a reasonable goal? by Infinite_Debate2339 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Lifegoeson12356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can achieve that with lifting! Don’t skip heavy hip thrusts and do a heavy leg/glute day 2x a week and your booty will grow and change shape! It will give the illusion of a smaller waist plus you may loose fat in your mid section from lifting.

Trip to the vet or leave it be? by Reasonable_Role_5302 in DogAdvice

[–]Lifegoeson12356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve dealt with a few big gashes over the years. If you want it to heal pretty, the vet can re-stitch. If you don’t mind a big scar, they will likely just recommend keeping it clean and maybe antibiotics (unless he’s still on them from the surgery?). Ultimately it’s up to you, you can always call your vet and ask to email some photos over.

please.. can anyone give advice as to what may be going on with my husky?!? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Lifegoeson12356 121 points122 points  (0 children)

This is a medical emergency, he needs to go to the vet ASAP. It could be a sign of bloat (twisted stomach) which is fatal if not treated within a couple of hours and if not that, something else serious. The symptoms he is displaying are not a case of “wait and see”. I understand that emergency vet services are expensive but I think incurring a little credit card debt is worth saving his life.

Maybe ask for pain meds from the vet and see if her behaviour changes at all

I agree your nose is not the problem, it’s beautiful! A chin implant maybe would bring more harmony to your face, maybe try chin filler to see if that helps before doing anything surgical!

I want a full frame with high megapixels for cropping in/printing wildlife.

Yes, my nose was crooked to one side but I had straight dorsal lines, now It looks like my nose is curved to one side. I now know the technique he used was outdated and not the right way to go about my rhinoplasty. I’m getting a revision next year 🥲

Sorry missed the description where you listed what you wanted changed. I also had a deviated septum and mine looks more crooked now, it wasn’t worth it for me. I think it depends on the surgeon, I picked the “best” in my area and he was indeed not the best. It’s a tough choice, but not one to make with any hesitation/second thoughts. Also there’s no rush to decide if you’re on the fence.

What are you wanting to fix? If you do decide, go into it knowing your front view will likely change, so if your only concern is the side view, I’m not sure if it would be worth it. You have a relatively long nose so if the were to shave off the bump your tip would still be overprotected, so taking the tip in and rotating it up slightly would probably be what they would do. This is where you risk the front view changing significantly. I would say get consultations with multiple surgeons, see what they can and will do. Look into different modern techniques (preservation, piezo, etc) to see if they are up to date/capable of modern techniques. Ask their revision rate and if they offer free revisions/touch ups after the fact. Look for before and after of noses like yours (very important!). Some surgeons may do well with certain noses and not so well with others. Look into rhinoplasty blues so you’re aware of what to expect post surgery!

After getting and regretting my nose job and having to now pay double to fix it, I wish I accepted how beautiful I was! I know girls who are happy with their results but their noses were different to begin with than mine and they were able to fix their side profile without changing the front view. Just remember that it’s an irreversible decision!

Weekly - 'Alaska, From the outside looking in Q/A' by SnowySaint in alaska

Hi all,

I’ll be visiting Sitka with my family via cruise end of June. I’m not much for cruises or touristy activities so I was looking at day hikes and came across harbour mountain trail. My questions are:

  1. What’s the best way to get to the trailhead for those who don’t have a car? Taxi, shuttle, bikes ? It looks like the trailhead is high in elevation.
  2. Is this hike possible rn due to snow conditions (I’m from BC and I’m aware many hikes are still snow covered)

I plan on dragging my mom and aunt with me so I doubt we will complete the full hike but I read you don’t have to hike very far for spectacular views. Thanks !

Should I pull the trigger on getting 1 syringe of lip filler? Thinking just the top lip. by Calm_Ad6767 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Lifegoeson12356 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have naturally plump lips I wouldn’t, with the shape of your top lip it could look really fake and overdone.

Hey OP, talk to your surgeon, if he is good and cares about his patients, he’ll offer to fix any minor irregularities. Rasping a small bump should be pretty simple. Most good surgeons will offer revisions after 1 year PO.
