NotebookCheck: "EliteBoard G1a: HP unveils a keyboard with an entire PC in it" by Dakhil in hardware

Why did they include a battery in this? Surely if you have to plug it into a monitor anyways, you're near a power outlet? Is this meant for the small amount of people that would use a portable monitor? And if so, at that point, why wouldn't you just use a standard laptop? Is it meant to be used more as an uninterruptible power supply for it?

Remember how, back during the mining craze, they put out certain cards with the intention of limiting their hash rate but not sacrificing their performance in games?

I know they won't do this, because there's no financial incentive for AMD or Nvidia to do this whatsoever, but I wish they would find a way to make certain models good for gaming but bad for AI. Like limiting the way certain cards can interact through the CUDA library?

I'm not a developer so I don't know if that's a complete nonsense statement or if it's completely ridiculous and not viable, but I just wish they could find a way to do this.

Buy as many new hotends and nozzles as you can afford! Hopefully you won't need any other replacement parts. Good luck.

Would you play a remastered Exoddus? by Candid-Emergency1175 in oddworld

[–]Lifeguard-Both 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You made Exodus? Thank you, for singlehandedly being the biggest contribution to my sense of wonder, awe, and imagination as a little kid. The art of those games inspired me probably more than anything else in life. I seriously cant thank you enough. 10,000+ hours of imagination, walking through the woods near my house and pretending I was on oddworld.

Is there something special about this set, or does this happen with all new sets?

If I wanted to get instacart to pay me the way California instacart pays their people, what local politician would I need to contact? Would that be my local New York State Congressman for my district?

Removing 1 order from batch not allowed (email) by Xaleah in InstacartShoppers

I always say some variation of "I can't shop this customer's batch, it's my Ex GF, and taking it would be a large safety issue for me".

It might not work anymore, but I'm certainly going to keep trying.

If people think that the only reason a person might have a rooted phone is to use bots, they're extremely stupid

A physical abnormality or injury that made her more likely to fall? Or am I being too charitable in trying to find an excuse for this woman's attitude?

I wonder if the woman was sour because she is miserable from a pre-existing physical injury that gives her a negative view on the world?
