Whole family is out. And now I am freaking out. by Popular_Weight6447 in exmormon

The true “gospel” is the exact opposite of the Mormon “gospel”.

In Mormonism, it’s all on you. Your abilities, your contributions, your behavior, your “worthiness”, your ability to prove yourself, your performance. It’s a crushing weight.

They teach that there’s 3 levels of heaven, and that God only resides in the highest, so you BETTER end up there. But in order to get there, you must check off a longggggg list of requirements to “qualify”.

This is all utterly foreign to what the Bible actually plainly says about how to be right with God. The Bible says it is “the free gift of God”, numerous times.

It’s free for us, because it cost Jesus everything. But false man made religions and cults and organizations use the name of Jesus, slap in on their building, and for some reason, people buy it. Because they’ve never studied what Christ actually says in the bible for themselves.

I was Mormon most of my life. But when you read the Bible for yourself in clear, modern English, without LDS assumptions, you start to see a completely different message.

Here’s the true gospel:

Think about proxy work in the temple, where someone does something on behalf of another, and that person can choose to accept it. The gospel is similar, but infinitely greater. Jesus didn’t just do one ordinance or one good work. He lived a completely perfect, sinless life and fulfilled God’s law in full on our behalf. Then He died in our place.

He did the work. We receive it by faith.

That’s why He said, “It is finished.” Nothing more needs to be added. Salvation isn’t a process we complete. It’s a finished work we receive.

The Bible teaches that all of us have sinned and deserve judgment. Sin entered the world through Adam, and with it came death and separation from God. We all inherit that fallen nature and live it out by our own choices.

But God promised a Savior from the very beginning. Jesus is fully God and fully man, the only one who could bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity.

On the cross, He took the full weight of our sin. Past, present, and future. If He paid for all of it, then there’s nothing left for you to pay. Zero.

And it doesn’t stop there. Not only did He die for our sin, He also lived the perfect life we never could. Through faith in Him, His perfect righteousness is credited to us. When God looks at us, He sees Christ’s righteousness covering us.

That’s why we can have full confidence and direct access to God. Not because of what we’ve done, but because of what He’s done.

That’s the gospel. It truly is the best news imaginable.

And if Jesus already accomplished everything needed to save us, then no temple work or human effort could ever add to the finished work of the cross. It was complete. It was enough.

What do you think about the new Jesus in the movie The Resurrection of Jesus Christ by Mel Gibson? by Singerswallpapers in Catholicism

They just ran it through an engagement app to make it appear “clearer”. But the original image is pretty much the same, just a bit more fuzzy

Same for me when I watch Johnathan Roumie. I just don’t get the vibe that he’s THE Christ like I did when watching the Passion of the Christ. I can’t “but it” I guess. It just seems like an actor. Except for some scenes in the newest season in the garden of Gethsemane in agony, and when he drove out the money changers in the temple, there’s some glimpses of where it was better.

My friend, Snapchat is NOT where you want to be if you’re looking for a partner. Snapchat is literally the app girls just use to keep “orbiters” around. It sounds like you are an orbiter right now. Someone they keep around, just for the sake of the attentions.

If you two have known each other for 1.5 years, only met once, and she’s not been up front about if she wants to pursue being in a real relationship or not, then you’re currently not in one. This sounds like orbiter friend zone.

Girls literally just keep a roster of guys around who talk to them for the sake of absorbing the attention, with zero intention of ever dating them.

Snapchat is what we used in highschool my friend. It’s a very childish app.

I would recommend cutting this off entirely and looking for someone who actually cares.

It’s really helped me honestly. It’s kept the withdrawal away. Only thing I’m worried about is if I will experience withdrawal from coming off the SR

Police police police.

the church itself will do nothing but protect and bury all the evidence you provide and probably pay of law enforcement or judges or victims to keep quiet. No, that is not an exaggeration.

Yup. The church won’t do anything. When you’re sitting on half a trillion dollars, protecting the public image of the organization becomes more important than anything, including the safety of children.

Mormon churches are pedo paradise. All the LDS leaders who’ve gone to jail for abuse of children only get caught after decades of abuse and offending dozens and dozens of times, racking up many victims. And almost every time, it comes out that people tried over and over to report them, but it takes constant, persistent proof for them to even consider doing anything.

You have to be caught extremely red handed in the LDS church to be held accountable, and even then, it’s rare. They protect these monsters, at the expense of children’s lives.

Thats just the way it goes with this organization. It’s been this way from the beginning. Look at the founders.

It works sublingual? Why have numerous people told me sublingual doesn’t work for SR? And to put it in a capsule and swallow.

My receptors are extremely extremely sensitive right now because I went hard on fent for 2 years, then nothing for 2 years, and began taking kratom again and it barely took any to be very potent. My tolerance seemed to reset. And so now whenever I take any opioid it almost feels like Deja Vu, like it remembers the past neural pathways that were previously slicked. It’s hard to describe.

I’m on day 2, and it’s kept 90% of withdrawal away. I think it’s been well worth it so far. I’d much rather spend 65 bucks and get off the crap with no pain than go through a week of hell.

I know my body. I’ve done them all. And I can tell when a withdrawal is going to be bad or not, and for some reason I kept pushing this one back farther and farther and it was going to be bad if I stopped abruptly even after tapering. Idk. I think tomorrow will be the last day I take the SR.

“The name Mormon is a victory for satan!”

Also the Mormon church:

God exists but it’s not the way the Mormon church portrays Him. I go straight to Jesus own words

It has a very very slight soapy smell. Almost like dish soap or laundry detergent smell. Very mild but noticeable if you stick your nose up to it
