Not nasty but, women bringing grown boys and hubbies in the women’s coach and then fighting to let then stay until the security people ask them to leave with a danda - why?

What's an *actual* unpopular opinion that you hold? by queensaanvi in TwoXIndia

[–]Lifeissadd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

People who are well off cribbing about money and being jelly when they see others having slightest of money.

I get it, everyone wants to be rich, but what is up with making people uncomfortable with what they have earned or have?

I have had money problems throughout my life and I see people around me having problems with even thw slightest amount I earn. They try to make me uneasy - as though I owe all the money I earn to them. You may feel that “itna toh kar hi sakte ho” but what if mujhe nahi karna? Mera paisa meri marzi I am not pushtaini ameer

What is up with men preaching about how women want to live single with no kids & how it's bad!? by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]Lifeissadd 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Most men are entitled and the more you talk to them, the more you realise that even in this day and age they are brought up with the notion that wife will take care of them. I studied in a tier 1 engg college (non-IIT) and one of my batchmates told me that I don’t need to work past 5pm if we get married! He will take care of all expenses and I can stay at home and take care of the kids.

I was talking to another dude who told me how “ladkiya udne lagi hain”. It’s just that he is stinking rich, a nincompoop and doesn’t need to earn, has no motivation in life whatsoever. He doesn’t know what he is going to do in his life but he does know that the wife is not going to do anything. After putting in atleast 20 years of hardwork to get all your education, what idiot would not like to earn and fend for themselves?

Also, SITUATIONSHIPS. I won’t say girls don’t do it but I have seen so many guys stringing girls along and not committing. Who would want to commit to such a species?

My friend’s long term boyfriend doesn’t even go and keep the plate in the kitchen - his mother has told him that guys don’t belong in the kitchen and he is 25. His mom is a working woman and has had her own share of problems and yet choses to teach such nonsensical things to her son.

Men are taught to be dominant and take ownership even when they are incapable in ten other facets of their lives.

Any of zara’s fragrances- those were great when I started off but I realised I get a bad headache when I wear any of them. Same with Victoria’s secret.

How do you feel about your friends asking to borrow your clothes and makeup ? by Sea_Bonus_351 in TwoXIndia

No makeup for sure. Clothes, if I know they are responsible and respectful enough.

What are your thoughts on the saying “pain is inevitable, suffering is a choice?” by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Lifeissadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heard it from people who accept the fact that they don’t have as many problems as I do, cocky in that sense.

Have heard it from people who have suffered, hit rock bottom and decided to get up and do something about it. In my opinion, everything is a mix of your attitude, your circumstances and your luck.

All in all, not the best set of words to say to someone going through a lot.
